Big Rigs for 9.99?
DEUS EXcelled
does anyone actually use "unexcelled"? unsurpassed maybe...
it's clearly interstate '76

Gundato: My vote goes toward a massive pun on MS Excel, and we are going to get some better way to track our stuff :p. Or more variety in pricing (Because they switched from an Excel spreadsheet that only had two pricing points :p).

Delixe: Actually I would say thats a pretty good guess. Unexcelled does sound like a play on words.

Since this is GOG, Excel 97?

Lucibel: Hmm, wording does sound contrived. Deus Ex?

Ooh yes, this sounds like the most likely suggestion so far.
Expect the unexcelled, indeed.

mroaes: DEUS EXcelled

ah...
The background image makes it look sci-fi related.
Yeah, Deus Ex is definitely a likely one (well, the most likely one yet).
It is obvious that it is going to be a play on words (I vaguely recall a few other games advertised that way on Twitter). The main problem is just that I don't know of any games or devs/publishers that used the word "excel".
One problem with the Deus Ex approach though, is that Eidos (or whoever has the rights now) won't like that. If you are saying that the original was never surpassed, it will make selling IW kind of hard :p

Delixe: If it was it would mean EA are on board with GOG. That would be answering a lot of prayers.

If we go by their wording and the wishlist then EA stand out as by far the strongest contender. Bringing EA and subsequently System Shock 2 to GOG would be the deal that they could never again surpass.
Or, it could simply be that they used a space background because it looks fancy and the word "unexcelled" because it's sufficiently vague?

Luned: I'm using IE8

There's your problem right there. IE doesn't support very much very well. Subsequently not very much supports IE.
EXpect the unEXcelled
I'm 95% sure it's Deus Ex....because it was very recently chosen the no.1 PC game of all time by PC Gamer (or was it Eurogamer?), which is basically being unexcelled as a game.
No matter what it is, it has to be something bigger than just one game. Deus Ex alone wouldn't be worth such a countdown. And yes, I do consider Deus Ex an excellent game.
I think it's either a major publisher coming on board or a major change to GOG. Maybe finally getting out of Beta?

Planeforger: This could mean the Lucasarts back catalogue...

I think this is unlikely, seeing as several old LucasArts games have already been made available on Steam. One can only hope, though - I wouldn't turn down LOOM!
