Wolfox: Sierra also means the Homeworld series - definitely GREAT old games.

THQ now has those.

javand: Quick notice: I've played Privateer, in DosBox. So yes, it does work. The music is just half as fast as it should be, but everything else is fine.

You're kidding! Well, gonna try it out (again)... Last time I've tried it (long time ago) I remember finding one million forum posts saying it didnt work (after 100000 failed attempts)... Don't remember the exact reason, however... I believe it actually was something related to the sfx/music support... game would crash after opening sequence.

The problem is probably an old Dosbox version. I just tried again, running XP with Dosbox 0.73, works fine.

I was actually serious. I don't believe in knocking people about their game preferences. I've tried three times to play Splinter Cell and still can't figure out why people love it.
On a side note, if you want deep complex strategy and gameplay, you -might- want to try Final Fantasy Tactics. However, if you aren't a FF fan, then there are probably better turn-based strategy games out there, like Disgaea (never played, just heard about).
Ooh...FFT counts as a GOG. Unfortunately, never released to the PC...

Guess I was running a pre 0.60 DOSBOX build...
I just realized something. Doesn't sierra own the bulk of the rights to No One Lives Forever?

Really? I didn't know that... all I knew was that Sierra published the games originally.
Well, I guess I'll have to wait for THQ to show on GOG then... ;-)

Neither did I, nor the MGS series, they're kinda like Metallica, a lot of fuss about nothing much special.
FFT? I've seen a gameplay movie from that today, not really my style [but i'd love to check it out somehow]. I'm a BIIIIIG, and i mean, BIIIIG Jagged Alliance fan, so i guess it wouldnt impress me, but who knows.;)
And i don't own a console, never had, and i guess i never will.;P [and before someone calls me bad names i do emulate, cant get enough of A Link To The Past;P]

I'm half tempted to get a PSP just to play FFT: War of the Lions, and I already have FFT. It's that good.

Since NOLF 1 was published by Fox Interactive (now part of Activision Blizzard), and Sierra published NOLF 2, they could very well put them on GOG.
So . . . what about this?
Hope this isn't it but . . . if I don't post this link somebody else will.
