I didn't like what I heard when it was originally announced but the recent trailers have my considering a preorder since it'll save me a few bucks from buying it day one. It looks like a mix of XCOM, Mass Effect, and Brothers in Arms and I like all of those games.

Less than two weeks until it releases now.

I'm as interested in it as I was for the Syndicate FPS, which is to say not at all.

Declassified seems to still have some strategy to go with it though. I might need to look into it more but it doesn't like a straight shooter like Syndicate was. Either way EU did well enough that I'm sure we'll see another game but in the TBS style.

The original concept was FPS (Which was one of the only ones I ever had any excitement for)

Keep in mind that the Battleship FPS also has some strategy elements to it. :P

And yeah, I actually bought EU specifically to support the TBS style game over the FPS.
the squad-based combat looks exactly like Mass Effect.
I am definitely interested in it, but I'll probably wait until after it's been out for a bit, gotten some reviews, and see what other gamers have to say about it first...just like I did with EU (which I loved btw)
It's a third-person shooter now? How did that happen?
Maybe in a year when it's on sale. I can't say turning beloved series into FPS has ever enhanced it...

Duke Nukem?
I will buy it on sale, of course, but they sold me just because of the interesting theme.

Not to mention this amazing trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6uWz8iRjCiA
I'll probably get it if the reviews are positive or a let's play of it looks really good. I'm hopeful it'll be good and not be another X-com enforcer.
I am tempted to try it out.
i preordered it but part of that was for the goodies such as the other games including the old xcom games.
It looks interesting but I'm not yet completely sold. There is no demo afaik, so I'm waiting for a bigger pool of user reviews and significant price drop.
