i entenred for Blackguard , i don't win , i enterred for Frederic : ressurection of music (i don't think nobody else enterred for this one.) -> i win , so what ? it's unfair because i enterred for a game nobody else enterred..

if you have any proof this is not random , prove it , or stay silent. Because i find your accusions insulting for Sachys & Foxworks.

Yes it is just like that if you pick a game noone else entered for you win, some (expensive) games like blackguard alot more people entered for thus offcourse you get a much smaller chance.

i know (it's quite obvious) , but i think he's disapointed because he didn't win ? or whatever. I didn't find any other reason why he said it's not about luck.

I don't have any problem with not winning, I didn't win many many giveaways but you didn't see me complaining about it.
When this started I was thrilled with the idea so much I actually donated one game myself (and it did find a good home, so I'm happy about it), but after two or three runs I've seen what is this actually about. And it's actually all regular, because it's clearly stated in the OP, donors provide games that thread creator later gives to people he likes. The only problem I have is that's a travesty to fairness.
You can stay naive if you like, and think that this is just gibberish talk coming from a sore loser (who didn't enter for "most wanted" games btw). If you compare the lists of winners from previous TBBBBOB giveaways you'll see what there are people that always win what they want. Also want/interested thing is pointless because on numerous occasions 2-3 people enter for a game with "want" and it still went to someone who was merely "interested" or even had it as third choice.

It depends on how a winner is drawn, if you do it per game yes then you should compare it with everyone's first choice, second choice etc etc. If a winner is first picked and then looked at what they want (which is the case here) then yes it will be looked at what their first pick is then if its gone their second etc etc, so it's like you said. But that doesn't make it a bad thing or pointless, hence it being a spare choice.

Well, i don't think, what you said is right,To be honest, i try to enter in some games most people don't take (so yeah i have more chances to win : that's obvious :) ). In other hand as lugum & i pointed out : take the exemple of Blackguards... With this in mind i never win an expensive game through those GAs

i think Sachys & Foxworks use random.org to draw the winners. If you enter for 2 platforms : IE : GOG + Steam, you have a chance to win only once : if you don't win for the GOG entry , you still have a chance to win for the Steam one (i think that's how it works)

I don't believe this is true at all. I've got a passing good relationship with the founders, and I have so far contributed six games to the giveaway, and I have won one time out of five, I think.

It's my understanding that if your first choice is a game that no one else has chosen, you will win it, and all the rest is done by chance drawing. I don't have a problem with that.

It's a bit weird to say all virgo's or capricorns are this and that. Same goes for the horoscopes like all pisces will have alot of luck this coming week.

It is quite unfortunate that you didn't get your desired games in the 5 giveaways so far BranjoHello but I certainly don't agree that this giveaway should be deemed unfair just because of a string of bad luck. The organizers Sachys and foxworks put in a lot of effort for these every week and this is a brilliant replacement for the ninja thread which should be applauded by everyone. Not only that, but Sachys and foxworks are regular donors in these giveaways which they get nothing out of except for the well deserved appreciation from the majority of the community. So calling their integrity into question without any evidence and accusing them of favoritism is really not what these guys deserve.

For this week's giveaway I didn't receive my first choice game despite the fact that it was a 50/50 chance but thats how luck is sometimes. I certainly don't think it was rigged for the person who actually won the game, the only folks that are certain not to win anything are those that don't measure up to requirements for proper one month activity on the forum i.e. more than participation in just the gifting threads, for everyone else its fair game. It is especially disconcerting for the many donors to this giveaway as well because your insinuation could create doubts in their minds that their generous contributions are not being distributed to deserving entrants. I don't want this wonderful giveaway series to end because of this so I hope Sachys and foxworks don't take this gripe to heart from a select few.
