Hey, I just want to add my word of thanks to the crew who make GOG such a great place. Even in beta, the site is amazing...slick, full of easily-accessed information, great pricing structure, delivers on every promise...
One thing I think really needs to be pointed out is the full disclosure for each game's technical state...known bugs or multiplayer issues are noted right on the page to assist in the user's decision on whether or not to purchase the game, not buried in some readme file that you can see *after* you download. Kudos for the extreme attention to detail in documentation!
I had one issue for technical support, and Adam answered me literally within just a couple of hours. My problem was solved ASAP, and I hugely appreciate that!
Hopefully more publishers/devs will get in on the ground floor with this, because as far as I'm concerned, GOG is *the* definitive way to sell older games. You guys will be getting periodic payments from me for quite some time.
Keep up the good work!
Well, I must admit I've been going to open a new bank account for a couple of years by now. The old one didn't offer me a virtual visa (a debit card that could be used in the Internet) - having no regular income blocked the way for a "real" visa (I didn't want it, either - there's way too much problems with security, extra fees etc.). What finally convinced me to finally obtain an Internet-enabled debit card was GOG. A week ago I filled the form and just a couple of minutes ago I made my first Internet visa transaction - obviously, at GOG.
Guys, huge thanks for everything. Perhaps the catalogue is far from being perfect right now, however I strongly believe you're all trying hard to provide us exactly what we keep on begging you for. Thanks for the idea, thanks for no DRM (Steam, you're lost) and finally - thanks for your pro-community attitude. Just... thanks for being among us, here on the forums, rather than making yourselves invisible "gods" as many would do.
What makes me proud of being polish is definitely not our politicians, even our sports representatives don't succeed at what they are supposed to. You, at GOG, do.
Good luck. I'm sure as the games catalogue grows, I'll give you much more support than just $5,99. Besides, money isn't what life is about, right? ;-)
Oh, and by the way thanks go to George "double-u" as well. Thanks for making dollar so cheap ;-)

Thanks for such a great catalogue of old games that a lot of people have missed out on! I'm happy to find a great gaming community that is free of flames no matter what games you have or haven't played. I look forward to seeing what kind of place GOG.com turns into and increasing my credit card debt on your website. <3
I did something I haven't been able to do in a long time.
I bought Descent, had some friends over, installed it on their laptops (no CD keys!) and we played a honest-to-god genuine LAN game. Thanks GOG for making this possible.
Thanks guys, these games genuinely make people happy to play again.
I will enjoy making u guys rich :D
Thanks guys!!!. You are doing great job here.
Wanted to give my thanks, not only for the games, but also the extras (soundtracks) and awesome support as well. Go GoG!
Thanks for making this site it's great and I'm spreading the news!
=I'm telling everyone about this awesome site. Thanks guys!
Yes, yes, thank you for tapping into, what I feel, is PC gaming's golden age. :) Great work so far.
What a great idea and website! I have been watching progress of the project for about month and today just discovered this is a CD Projekt initiative. This shocked me completely! Those guys are definitively the best developer/publisher on the market! (well, maybe except the Blizzard ;P) I will definitively support them and looking forward for more games.
Cheers!

Agreed, this place is awesome. About time the classics got the treatment they deserve. I'll be hanging around for a long, long time

Yeah, I will be spending my gaming dollars here more than I will buying games with DRM in them! Thanks for gog for sure.
It has been a long time since I came across something I think gaming was in desperate need of. Simply amazing.
Thank you GOG. Keep it up!
I don't have any original lines in mind, so I simply wish to congratulate those who came up with this idea and realized it. And if there is anyone, who is on the GOG team, and is not included in the former group, I would like to extend the "congratulations" to them as well, of course.
