Big hearty thank you GOG!
I didn't count how many has thanked you before me, but I'm sure one time more doesn't hurt ;)
Consept here is just what is needed, and what for example I have been looking for quite a while. Usually start my new games searches looking for budget buckets of game stores, hoping to find some gem's I have missed previously.
Now I can come here, wish for games I would like to see once again, and search good old games, reading what other gamers have wrote about them! Much more personal way to look for games than reviews on magazines!
Of course there could be way of torrents, but this way I can be sure I get what I pay for, and I can hope some of that money flows back to original team (somehow, if not directly) so they can keep doing great games. It is good enough to me that some of money flows to releaser, but they have then good sign that this kind of games are liked, and they can hire old team doing new similar games :)
I wish you good with this service, and I sure hope you get community ticking. And make it so that casual users benefit from it too, and not just those who spend all day and night on site and things around it :)
One last time (in this post), Thank you GOG!
It is good to say thank you, and one thing I did not say that others did was, thank you for giving us games with zero DRM in them.
Also, thank you for how you handle the games in the users profile. It is nice to see my games listed there and knowing that I can DL them any time I wish, over and over again. This is such a nice feature.
One last thing is, thank you for not forcing your users to DL and install a Download Manager to get your games. I cannot say how pleased I am to simply get an executable file and save it to my HD to install, uninstall and then reinstall as often as I wish.
Simply brilliant!
Thanks again gog from one Good Old Gamer. :o)
Beware with the GOG guys, you can´t trust them... they readed my mind and created the perfect classic games page! This can´t be a coincidence! I was dreaming about this since an old pc game failed to run for the first time in a new PC!
Say it, guys: you have a Cortex Reaver to read the poor melancholic minds of classic gamers...
Absolutely, GOG, thanks indeed for bringing back some of those hoary, but beloved, old classics. Being a huge fan of older games (I have a healthy amount of PC Dos games running on the excellent Dosbox) I anticipated the opening of this site with a most childlike enthusiasm.
The philosophy is 100% right - cheap classic titles, no DRM, and the convenience of being able to download them as often as you want, and with little bonuses like Wallpapers and music into the bargain too I'm beginning to feel a little spoiled! Not only that but there's enough room for a wee community of like-minded Retro-conniseurs to flourish, too. Awww.
With major High Street stores in the UK all but giving up on PC gaming, I firmly support takng our revenue away from them (*blows raspberry*) and giving it to 21st Century services like this one (and Steam, and Impulse) instead.
Congratulations, GOG, and here's hoping for a smooth and succesful public launch. *thumbs up*
You guys know you are doing good, if you keep updating with a fairly constant stream of games of this quality and breadth you will have plenty of guaranteed customers, I certainly won't be leaving any time soon. Thanks for all the hard work, and good luck on talking all the publishers into joining the fold. Good to see a DRM free service when everything from music to games to movies is clamping down and TELLING the consumer how they can use the product .
I look forward to giving you more of my money.

Home of the Underdogs just collapsed when they saw G.O.G! Haven't been able to connect with their site in the last week! :)
There's nothing I could say that hasn't been said already, so I'll keep it short: Thanks, guys. You're doing a great job.

Thank you, GOG. You have brought the joys of my favorite childhood games back into my life.
It's not the year of the PS3, as Sony would have us believe. It's the year of the classic PC game.
I find it hard to put words on how much I love CDPROJECT and the GOG team.... but thank you so very much for making this a reality.
I want to say thank you for making the site tab-friendly. You get into the habit of hitting the middle button and expecting a window to be open, so it gets annoying when flash links don't normally cooperate - especially when they change! The top banner on the main page wins over the banners at say, IGN or Gamespot.

I can't. Don't have Mastercard. My VISA doesn't work with "Verified with Visa". I tried the Paypal plugin but I can't get that to work... I'm hoping GOG puts native Paypal support in. That's the only way I can truly purchase anything.
Gog is classic games slathered in awesomesauce and served piping hot.
What you guys have done here is nothing short of spectacular. You have my thanks, my money, and my prayers. I hope that you guys become successful and continue to bring legendary games like these back into the spotlight. Through you, I can live the childhood I could never afford.
I and everyone else here thank you immensely for all the hard work you've put into this. It's clear that you know your core demographic very, very well.
