shadesofdeath320: Isn't this the whole idea behind killing zombies? Mercy Kill. Father Gregori knew what was what.
The whole point behind killing zombies is exactly that ... Killing some freakin zombies!

Darling_Jimmy: No, I haven't watched it. Why do Simon & Schuster think I should support the fast food industry?
They're not asking people to support it. It's just that they could find no significant fault with it.

There are plenty of reasons to avoid fast food. If not for philanimaly, then for my own health.

Edited to include absurd new word.

Fair point. You're right. I had originally written "humanity" but I thought that sounded weird. :P

I had assumed the word could mean good will on behalf of human kind, although human recipients are probably a condition of the proper definition.

I don't get why discussions about PETA turn into arguments over vegetarianism. I'm fine with people who choose not to eat meat. It's PETA that fucking sucks. They don't care about animals. They kill almost all the animals they "rescue".

DAT PETAhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
I don't eat any meat and I'm vegan, PETA kind of sucks.
Vegetarianism/veganism is archaic. It is factual that humans are meant to eat meat, and vegetables. All one has to do is reach into his/her mouth, feel the sharp meat-tearing teeth at the front, and the flat vegetable grinding ones at the back, and they will realize their foolish hippy philosophy to be just that.

I fail to see how anyone could accept the rantings of anyone whose diet was a philosophy/religion/cult.

If you have an allergy/medical condition that precludes you from eating meat, I accept that you are a vegatarian, and am interested in hearing why, to a point. If you have confused diet with philosophy, I am not.

For the record, I am the biggest animal lover I know, but to say "I won't eat meat because I love cows" is absurd. If you hate the conditions animals are killed in, buy meat processed in a humane way, don't sacrifice the scientifically correct diet over it.

For starters, maybe dealing with the corn conundrum before worrying about how pigs are killed would be a good idea.

If you are asking me why I will reply. The reason I do not eat meat is because I consider it healthier to not eat it. I was never a big fan of bacon or burgers when I did eat meat, I did like chicken and other poultry but not very much, I can do without it too.

Have you heard of the China Study? I watched a film titled "Forks Over Knives" that talked about that study and it convinced me not to eat meat for health reasons.

I also avoid all fast food, drink no soda, consume nothing that has artificial flavors or some other chemical additive and I rarely eat anything with processed white sugar added to it.

I have nothing against vegetarians or vegans in general. What I can't stand is vegetarians or vegans who tell me that I shouldn't eat meat because they don't like it. Fuck them. I'll stop eating meat when they stop eating vegetables. Plants have rights too, you know.

I would just tell you meat is not as good for you, if you want eat it that's fine. I'm not the crazy PETA type. If I had to I would eat meat to survive.
It seems I have resurrected this forum.

And I would say that's a lie, perpetuated by people who think it's their moral obligation to care what other people eat.

Very few groups survive entirely off of meat, plant foods are at least more important for the human diet compared to meat. You don't really see many people who adhere to an all meat/animal diet, not sure if there is anyone at all who chooses to only eat meat.

Inuit people are almost an exception, they still eat berries, and seaweed among other plants.
