TheCheese33: The blog entry details how they set up several fake usernames and complained about their own game on the PETA forums.
So they are trawling, well let them have their fun.
Ash360: I think Peta have become a bit of a liability to their own cause. They have become a joke and everyone just waits to see what crazy stupid thing they are going to do next so we can roll our eyes at it. They are the elephant in the room and have become a bit of a distraction from the issues that we should really be discussing.
They definitely do need some fresh blood up where decisions are made. Even better would be if some other animal rights group could challenge their media monopoly and use them as an antagonist.
It would probably be difficult though as journalists like entertaining and controversial opinions. Thoughtful and challenging opinions? Forget it.
Sandwich: I still prefer the alternate definition for the acronym "PETA": People Eating Tasty Animals.
I will admit I find that funny even as a vegetarian.
