to all the people generous people who giveaway games , remember the minimum requirements is only for joining this group , you may add in additional requirements in your giveaways for example

game xyz
requirements: contributor value : xyz $
extra requirements : must post gog profile name with a forum post as proof in comments.
more extra requirements : should have rep of xx and joined before xx.

so in case someone not meeting the requirements joins and wins , you can reroll with the reason and the profile in question would be warned or banned by steamgifts.

just for those wanting to make sure the right people get the games

Do we need to set that kind of giveaways as private? Or is it fine to put rules in Group ones?

I ask because I think I've read somewhere that only Private Giveaways can have extra rules.

From what I've heard on other group chats is that the rules for private giveaways have almost all been removed. You now need to contact one of the SG mods and ask them if you could add a rule or 2 on your private giveaway, and only after they OK it could add rules
