Stooner: Edit: uh.. What's the difference between the "Dragon Age: Origins Digital Deluxe Edition" and the Ultimate one?

Sachys: you misunderstand - its just the vanilla or ultimate
No... Look:

Momo1991: I can well imagine since my shopping spree is only a few months old - she's just a wee babe in arms compared to you ;-p

But srsly, I'm not sure why - well scratch that, I know why; I'm a lover of community at heart as are many, I suspect. So instead of actually spending more time playing, I spend less and instead spend it developing relationships. As much as many peeps complain about the organization of this forum, it has a hook that can't be denied...So in some weird respects, the GOG Gods have done good - not everyone gets this fact but it's true. ;-)

dirtyharry50: Yes, I have made many friends in the GOG community and that's carried over into Steam as well. I do understand what you are saying I think. Being part of a community of people with the same shared interest really adds to the experience and fun of it. It wouldn't be the same without the friends I have on Steam and here.
;-D

Digital Deluxe Edition includes a soundtrack and some wallpapers, I think; as far as the game itself, they should be basically identical.
what kind of DRM can i look forwards to with Dragon Age Origins?
i read about needing a bioware account but also that all the DLCs download in batch along with the installer, so possibly conflicting information.

was this cheaper elsewhere recently (same steam version)?
i own none of the 'newer' consoles this likely featured on.

ive played none of these games is this like the 3 or 4th one or something? >_<
I've managed to earn 6.75 from selling trading cards. I'm thinking about using it to buy DMC 4 and Strike Suit Infinity. Anyone have any objections/counter-suggestions?

ah, okay, thanks! But it also more than doubles the price.... (compared to the Ultimate Edition, mind you)

For some reason, Steam won't show me the Digital Deluxe Edition, but you can look at this and this.

Looking at Gamersgate, where I can see the DDE, that seems to be correct:
Ultimate Edition
Digital Deluxe Edition

Oh yes, there are three in-game items apparently. I forgot about those.

As for doubling the price, I think EA is just being silly.

DmC: Devil May Cry only 50% off? Ugh. I guess I might be waiting until the Holiday Sale before the discount goes to 75% off.
DAO - i have Ultimate on Origin but wanted it on Steam. I already have the base game, but not Awakenings - considering buying it, however at the 9 content dlc worth buying the UE on Steam?.
Oh wait, didnt someone say the dlc was available free from Biowares site? or was that a limited promo?

Thanks..
So, resuming... we cannot have the Ultimate Edition, but instead a half-baked said "Deluxe Edition" for three times the price.. pretty cool!

Edit: oh, and I love to see 100% off on GamersGate, but no "buy" button.. lol

now, my only option is sleep... Thanks again! ;p

It's annoying that EA only publishes on Origin. You can buy DAO on steam, then DA2 and 3 on Origin. What a mess...
I can't see The Secret World... which is now making me want to buy it. =/
ssssssssh, it's a secret!
