You should (re)read some topics here about Steam...
But if you really want to talk honestly, okay. I find it senseless to (accept such conditions, that you will never read in detail btw, and) buy anything from Steam.

well I buy games that are super cheap there and the games run fine so for me it makes perfect sense Yeah yeah drm but honeslty I havent had a problem with it so far.

Senseless?? I spoke exactly what reality is using Steam. Steam is the DRM on every (Yes I mean Every) game they sell. And Petrell is correct in that, if a game has DRM associated with it, that too is part of the deal/game.
Steam = DRM
Steam + DRM Game = Double DRM on your computer.
Hard to explain any other way, but I am open to listen.

If you mean that considering the size of stEAm's catalogue the % of games with additional DRM is fairly low, i agree with you.
There are many valid complaints though, like regional prices, regional locks, the client, the subscription model, the SSA, the (lack of) support, the non disclosure policy regarding just about everything, etc.

A number of people around here really hate Steam. The obvious solution is to not use the service if they are unsatisfied with the service. It seems, however, that they don't actually want a solution. They want something to hate. They have turned numerous threads into broken-record-like hatefests. It is tiresome but they won't stop. You can disagree but it is as if you are challenging a religion: they won't be open to logic or discussion unless it supports (or can be twisted in to supporting) their position.

Um, not really. I mean, there's no link between EA and Steam if that's what you mean, and EA is just a retail distribution partner for Valve, like they are for many other independent developers.
