So we are having KOTOR MMORPG. How does it make you feel?
I would much prefer KOTOR 3.
I don't play MMIORPGs, so yeah, give me KotOR 3 instead.
It's not KotOR, it's just TOR, hehe. I would prefer they had Obsidian do KotOR III and wrap up the trilogy at least.
I love bioware. I like their games better than Blizzard so I'm looking forward to what they do in the MMO space.
I will just wait till it is actually out and then give it thumbs up or will start complaining depending on how good/bad the game turns out to be. I would love to play third KOTOR but well, if they will actually manage to make great mmorpg then, why not?
I like the idea but I prefer a traditional RPG like Kotor with a game style similar to the new Dragon Origins because I don't usually play MMORG. I mean, I want to have life outside the game, and these games suck time from your life.
In an over-saturated MMO market, they will have to have a very decent product at launch with as minimal issues as possible. Being Star-Wars will probably help, but still they will need a good bit of luck.
Personally, I don't care much for either Star Wars or MMOs, so I'm not fussed what they do. I'd much prefer something closer to a traditional cRPG, a rare beast nowadays.
edit: can't spell, argh!

I'll watch a few trailers, look at screenshots, read rewiev, remind myself I hate MMORPGs and forget about it all along :D Gimme KOTOR!
Man I want this.
I'm disappointed because it sounds like you either have to be Jedi or Sith, what if I want to be a bad natured droid ;)
EDIT:
I'm also disappointed because Bioware is an EA partner.

From the press release: "Players can choose to play as Jedi, Sith, or a variety of other classic Star Wars roles..."
I for one am quite interested in this MMO, it might be the first one I actually want to try out. I'm especially psyked about the fact that it will be story-driven. It's also insane how much content Bioware claims to be in this MMO, exceeding all their previous games... combined.
I am disappointed with this nearly to the point of anger. After watching the interviews and reading the press on it, I cannot believe that LucasArts and BioWare completely ignored the fans and chose to make this MMO instead of KotOR 3. They even have the nerve to say things like:
"Our fans ask, 'Why aren't you doing Knights of the Old Republic 3?' What we're really doing is Knights of the Old Republic 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12-plus. We have that much content and that many stories...We really get to do a lot of things we really wouldn't get to do in [a] KOTOR 3."
For most of us, the point was not that we wanted multiple sequels, the point was we just don't want yet another MMO. MMOs in general suck and there is no reason to believe that this one will be any different. Making an Old Republic MMO instead of KotOR 3 is going to ruin what could have been one of the greatest single-player RPG franchises of all time. Thanks for nothing, LA and BioWare.

Welcome to the EA-infested Bioware. They let Mass Effect (PC - which, honestly, wasn't as good as people said it was) get raped by SecuROM, and now this bull. I've lost a lot of faith in Bioware in the last little while. Such a shame, they used to be an awesome company.
I despise MMOs, hell, I generally dislike online gaming. I don't want to play against other people. I hate people, and I'm sure people share mutual feelings for me. So this whole MMO announcement just pisses me off. I'm only a couple hours away from Edmonton, maybe I should drive up there this weekend and piss on their office door handles.
Well, (I can't believe I'm saying this) to be fair to EA, BioWare was working on this MMO project before being EAten.
But why the anger? I have no use for MMOs either, but it's no big deal to me. Since EA is determined to saddle all of their games with SecuROM DRM, I won't be buying them anyway, so it doesn't matter what BioWare comes out with. I won't be playing it.

People hate me.. a lot of people hate me.. a lot!
and I understand where you're coming from with the MMOs, I might have to give the fallout one a try though, definitely the Mad Max one..
I discovered my feelings for MMOs with Final Fantasy XI, and you know what, I'm not going back.. but it doesn't mean I'm not willing to give new ones a try.
Everyone Hates EA, and this MMO thing Bioware is doing ain't so great either, so why don't we all just say, screw it and forget about the whole thing.
