15,504 ways to play!

Decisions, decisions, decisions. Once the holiday season gets closer, you have to decide what gifts to buy, what wrapping to use, which phone numbers to accidentally delete. There are many decisions to make as you get ready for the holidays, but one decision that we’re making easy for you is, “Should I buy anything from GOG.com’s Black Friday sale?” (The answer is “yes”, by the way. ;) Not only are we launching the sale early--in case you spend Friday in a turkey-induced coma--but we’re also giving you the power to pick your own promo!

In our Pick 5 & Pay $10 sale you pick 5 out of twenty fantastic indie games and pay $10 for them regardless of the game’s regular full price. That's $2 per game, for such titles like Torchlight, Resonance, Alan Wake's American Nightmare, Botanicula, Geneforge 1-5, Uplink, To the Moon, and many others. Seven of these games are both PC and Mac compatible, so everyone can enjoy!

The games are fantastic--and there are so many of them! That's why we started this sale early: to give you time to pick your dream-set of 5 games out of 15,504 possible combinations. You could look at this as another decision you have to make this year, but unlike trying to figure out who you should sit next to your slightly crazy uncle at Thanksgiving dinner, this one’s fun!

Black Friday marks the start of the “shopping season” for the holidays, so don’t forget to buy the gift of GOG for a gamer you love--or even just kind of like. You can’t spread much more holiday joy than this for just $10.

Smolag: I wonder if I can, after I buy my pack as a gift, split few games into my inventory and send the rest over to my friend. Anybody knows?
When you buy them, all 5 games are on 1 code.
If you redeem the code yourself, all the games that you do NOT currently own are added to your account.
If you DO already own some of the games, these will stay on the code & can be redeemed by your friend.

Licurg: You'll get a single code for all 5 games, and all those you don't already have will be automatically redeemed. So you can only gift games you already have.

Rodzaju: When you buy them, all 5 games are on 1 code.
Thanks guys. This is no good, I wish I could spare some to whoever is interested in genres I'm not.

I scanned through this post (not easy with all of the off topic fighting) and I think I know the answer to my question. Like many others I own most of these games, some on GoG and others from bundles. There are only 4 games in the list that I down own, but only three that I want.

I already understand from other posts that If I buy it as a gift and redeem it myself, it will add the games that I don't own to my account and leave the rest to be redeemed using the same code. What I need a little clarification on is if I can chose which games to redeem to my account or does it automatically add what i don't own?

To be more specific, only two of the games I own on GoG, the others I got from various bundles. If I buy it as a gift and include games I don't own from GOG, when I redeem the gift myself will I be able to chose which specific games I want and leave the rest?

Depending on the answer, I have two options. If I can only gift the games I already own, I'll add those two to the three I want and gift them. Otherwise I'll add the other game I don't own, even though I'm not really interested in it I may play it, and then pick another game just to have a GOG backup of it.
God bless you.

I'm only missing 3 games of the 20 offered. symphony, unmechanical, and the ball.

if anyone is interested in 2 of the other 17, then pm me.

You won't be able to choose, it will automatically add all the games you don't have in your GOG account.
Sent you a pm.

Initially hard to pick 5 as ones on offer are pretty neat (then i started to work out what i already had..).
Hmmmm
Darwinia (any point to getting Multiwinia?)
Symphony
Gemini Rue
Resonance
To The Moon

Not a big adventure fan but have pretty much all the others (or just not interested..)

Anyone with experiences with Defcon?. I forgot about a similar older game which was along similar lines but just with nukes....

Thanks, that's what I thought, but I just wanted to make sure. Now I've got a decision to make. I've been thinking and I think I'm going to go ahead and get the 4th game (Alan Wake). The two that I already have are Resonance and The Blackwell Bundle, so if there happens to be someone out there that already owns Alan Wake's American Nightmare and wants Resonance and The Blackwell Bundle, PM me and we can trade.

should put this on the wishlists.
Actually, there is such a request:

Feel free to upvote it (but I guess you did already).

Yeah, (bought them anyway. found games I liked , but thought that might help;
with exaggerating show where adding it could directly help business)

But when I went to link it in that comment I read it again and it looked like it was more asking for the ability to bulk order them. Like get 10 of the same game at once(and 10 codes) as opposed to 10 different games and 10 codes/

but reading it again again now that you linked it I see it lists both as things it wants lol

Caved in the end and got these. :)

To The Moon
Gemini Rue
Resonance
Machinarium
Blackwell Bundle

Especially intrigued by To the Moon, as I've heard many good things about it. Torchlight was on the list, but after checking some videos it looked ridiculous.
I went ahead and bought Geneforge(which was on my wishlist), Trine, Resonance, Gemini Rue and the Blackwell Bundle, after reading much on all these forum pages. Had tough choices, but left off Machinarium and Symphony, after I was initially going to buy those. Hope I made the right choices.
unmechanical
botanicula
machinarium
alans wake ´s american nightmare
trine

:)
Just purchased:

Trine
Torchlight
AW: American Nightmare
Geneforge 1-5
Spacechem

already had Trine on steam but just had to get it here, especially for that price
