So from what I can tell from that is that we're getting an Ice Cap zone, Aquatic Ruin, Oil Ocean and possibly Balloon Park (???) remakes. Could be wrong.
Looks really good

Something tells me that a Sonic CD "inspired" stage is going to be in Episode 2 due to Metal Sonic being in there

Lol @ all the hype they created over a 'side-character-free' Episode 1. I really have no patience for this Sonic 4 business, that SonicTeam continues this mockery confirms to me, they have no idea what they're doing.

I hope all of you that are interested actually get a good game, though ;) .

Looks interesting, I HOPE it comes out on PC, but if ep 1 did after a good two years, I shouldn't worry about it much, "much" being a key word. :P

Why not Wii? Sega has been releasing games for Nintendo platforms for years at this point.

Really, though. I wouldn't mind if a new worthwhile Sonic game actually came out. "Sonic 4" makes me feel icky, though.

Sure I'll check this out. Kind of liked the first episode. Even if the jumping was off. That Casino Zone was so good.

I don't know, I'm just going by what the OP has said. The first Episode was on the Wii though.

Afaik, it's due to the new engine being used, which is apparently too taxing for the Wii.

If, at the last minute, they decide to add the option for classic 16-bit Mega Drive graphics, I'm in. BUT, and this this is a big 'but', they must add the option to "lock in" and play Episode 1 in 16-bit mode as well. Even if it's an "unlockable". But not a DLC. Unless it's free.

EDIT: I dunno, I feel like the way Sonic looked in Super Smash Bros. Brawl was way, way better than how he looks in Episode 2.

Releasing a game on the same day when Diablo 3 is out doesn't seem like a very good idea.
