wpegg: It's dodgy as hell, and I'm referring it to a bluetit to assess.

Matteo: It's not dodgy. If you don't trust the thing i cannot convince you.
How do you think e-bay work? First you pay, then you get the items (referring to the other guy now.)
You can trust me, just send me the credentials and I will pay you back. Fair deal, no?
Hmmm? Curious.

There was a yahoo article (my dirty secret) about a guy selling his video game collection. He's got about 11,000 games. Guess someone got an idea?

It's not about that.

No DRM : Make an account, buy the games you want, download them, sell account. It's basically piracy.

Not to mention having bought games probably on sale and then ask full prices for it.

if you don't, and are not a gamer from your title, why got so much in the first place?

Also, having bought the games in dollars but listing their value in Euros.

JudasIscariot: You don't.

@OP:

Please refrain from attempting to sell your account. Thanks.
Shouldn't you close the thread and monitor his account for different IP's logging on so you can lock it when he does sell it to someone? It won't be on GOG, but he'll definitely find a buyer at some price because he doesn't care for terms of services or any of that sort of thing.

Yes, but GOG really can't allow this. It's really the choice of GOG being able to offer games DRM free (which requires mutual trust), or having to use a DRM system that would allow second-hand sales. It's the nature of digital only goods that is the problem here.

Taken to extremes, if GOG were to allow selling accounts they could have ended up with a single account that someone buys games on, downloads them all and backs them up, then sells on to some one else, who downloads and backups all games on that account, then sells it on, etc., etc. without GOG seeing any income other than the first initial sale, but all the bandwith costs. I.e. GOG would fold double quick; would lose all ability to successfully negotiate with any publisher and the DRM free philosophy would be dead and buried for digital goods. Resale rights and DRM free digital goods just don't work next to each other.

At least the price he asks is more or less equivalent to the GOG discounts prices.

But it can't be verified, unless some DRM is implemented. So it would be opening a door to that sort of abuse.

GamersGate has a system that allows this : until you've downloaded a game, you can still give it away. But unfortunately GOG's system cannot check whether you did it or not. Also, I guess Steam's DRM would make such transaction sensible, I guess. But the price we pay for no DRM is the possibility of piracy and abuse, so we have to live with that. And keep some of these doors closed...

So, even if your own intentions were honest, because of other people it's not something that would make sense to validate on GOG... :-/

I see, thanks Mnemon
I see that Judas has already answered.. you cannot resell games or accounts!
Anyway, why did you buy 60 titles, if you didn't really want them? :\
