All the Secret Santa groups I have had to partake in have always been simply up to the value of said amount. Instead of dividing into groups, what about simply saying have a few price variants on your list and let the gifter choose what they can afford.

If I spend 9.99/6.99 I would not be pissed at at getting a cheaper game back, its a Christmas gift. Ill take it on trust that the gifter spent what they could and I will happily play my game. Just an idea to maybe make it easier.

Yes, that would be the ideal solution. If people are happy with that, then let's go with it.

I'm also in the "whatever" category, don't mind getting a cheaper game in return at all. Then again, I shouldn't really get any game because I'll know who it was gifted from :P

I think we can trust people to spend what they can (so the 5 games should have a variety of prices to choose from). After all, I will know if everyone is only buying the cheapest ones :)
Yes, Superior solution! :D
Alright, people need to start posting their five game wishlists. Please pick a variety of game prices as some people can afford to pay more than others. You have until Sunday, which is when you will be informed who you are buying for.

Anyone still interested in joining is more than welcome. Just make sure you have your five game wishlist posted here or communicated to me by any of the means stated in the original post by Sunday!
here are my 5 games :

Baldur's Gate 2 Complete
Uru: Complete Chronicles
Tex Murphy: OverSeer
Phantasmagoria
Dark Fall: The Journal

Can't wait to buy some gog to some other :)
I don't mind getting a cheaper game me either, so I think this is the better solution.
This sounds fun. I'd like to participate.
I don't have GOG PM, so I'll send nmillar my e-mail., separately.

I'll buy at the $9.99 point, but I don't mind if the gift given doesn't match (if you get a deal, more power to ya!)

My list of wanted games:
Unreal Gold
Planescape: Torment
Feeble Files
Darkfall: The Journal
Sacred Gold

Thanks very much, I hope we will all be gaming merrily in the near future.
My Wishlist:

Call to Power 2
Gabriel Knight 2: The Beast Within
Patrician III
Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee
Commandos 2+3
Settlers 2

GoJays2025: I'll buy at the $9.99 price.
You no longer need to pick a price point; people can spend as much (or as little - shame on you if this is the case :P) as they want.
*sorry for the off*

Just Cause 2 wont be on sale any longer by the time the gifters are picked. Think it runs out tomorrow. Bar that I dont mind buying a steam game for someone if theres nothing they want here.

I guess that could work, as long as the games remain within the $9.99 limit.
