I am pleased to announce another birthday giveaway!! On May 30 I will be older than dirt...or the same age as my name on GOG. I enjoy this community very much and am always impressed with the generosity of so many members. This is my small way of paying it forward.

You might be wondering about the title of this giveaway. I have a new hobby, I now have a saltwater aquarium that has six various corals, hermit crabs and snails. It is not a requirement for the giveaway but if anyone has a tank of their own I would love to see a picture of it or discuss the hobby.

So the prizes will be two lucky winners will each receive $9.99 in GOG games. Post if you are in. This will end on May 30 and the winners will be decided by random.com. Minimum rep for entry will be 30 and you must have joined before January 2014.

It's a long time since i had a little aquarium, in the end my 2 gold fish went in the pond of my neighbour.
But after a while all the fish got stolen out of the pond.

I've never had an aquarium, but I do really like watching them (especially saltwater). I've dreamed about getting one myself, but I've never looked into it seriously because I'm worried about the expense and the effort (not the mention the space it would take up in my already small house). I think I prefer the dream!

Happy birthday, and Im in! Never had a fishtank, though. Closest I got was a Nintendo handheld game called fishtank I think, like 30 years ago. You had to balance a little bowl and have catch jump from one aquarium to another.

We don't have a full aquarium, but we keep a betta fish. Had two, but one died, which was a beautiful chocolate delta tail. The one we have left is a blue half moon. We got them in December of 2012.

These are older pictures before adding anything. The blue one is camera shy now and it's difficult to take pictures of him now.

Never had a tank myself, the only pets I've ever had were cats and dogs. In elementary school, my class did have a hermit crab, and my aunt also used to have a fishtank, but thats my only experience with the topic.

Back when my money to kids ratio was favorable, I had an aquarium full of beta tetras and goldfish. I always wanted a pond in the yard with Koi and the like. But the ratio does not permit such frivolities at the moment.
