I'm in. Happy 51st nikopol! The closest I've ever gotten to maintaining an aquarium was a goldfish I won when I was 5 that died within a week, but it is a pursuit that has always kind of interested. Reading some of these posts, I'm starting to think of looking into it.

I have always had freshwater tanks. For awhile I had cichlids. My favorite was to get a Beta and let it live it's life out in my 10 gallon tank, because those small bowls you always see them in made me sad.

What can i say: not a fish person. Always forgetful about the poor fish, so after trying once, gave up and stuck with cats and dogs ( you can't forget about those ! ),

I don't have an aquarium currently, but used to when I was young. Probably the biggest success I had with it was not so much with fish but rather growing a couple tadpoles I captured into frogs (which were released back into the pond upon metamorphosis).
