It's all my fault...I just recorded the last three alien movies Sunday. I was waiting for DTV to re-air Alien before I have a marathon.

Damn, thats sad new, RIP Giger. His work on Aliens will never be forgotten. The creatures and everything were so darn realistic and scary. Even Species, the first one only, was pretty good. The alien makeup work on that was good.

Awh hell. RIP H.R. Giger, your work did the best thing art can do. It evoked emotions and came alive. The world will miss you. Good luck.

He died from injuries sustained in a fall? I half expected to read they found HR Giger twisted into a ball of biomechanical mass having transcended the limitations of humanity to become something unhuman with long point fingers and other snake like appendages.

Yahoo just did a little thing regarding what they thought his '10 best' were. Everyone knows the Alien but I had no clue he designed everything for Dune before Lynch took over and scraped most of it. He also did a lot of work in B-movies like the Killer Condom movie, I am not even kidding. :P I'm beginning to think the saddest thing about his passing was that I'll never get to meet and hang out with him; that would have been a trip.

the stuff from dune was about 50% of what was resused in prometheus.
im not surprised with the outcome!
