No place for cowards, really!

Braveland, an adorable but nonetheless epic turn-based strategy full of fantasy, charm, and clever tactics, is available DRM-free for Windows and Mac OS X on GOG.com, for only $4.99.

Braveland is a turn-based game inspired by old-school strategies with hexagonal battlefield. You will start as a humble warrior's son whose village was cruelly raided and will end as talented commander of your army. The story will take place in a hand-drawn world and cover many interesting places and characters. Various warriors will join your army - archers, scouts, healers, footmen, arbalesters, and more. With 50 battles that will test your tactical skill, 26 unit types to populate the battlefield, intense boss fights, character development, and adorable graphics style, this little gem of a game can serve as a savory appetizer for some, and the main course in the strategic feast for others.

If you thought that mighty magical heroes will never return to the land of 2D, Braveland is here to prove you wrong, for only $4.99 on GOG.com.

Sorry to add to such an old post, but I have a question about how Braveland was released.

The game card listed the Mac on release as being compatible with OS 10.8+. I didn't buy it or wishlist it because I don't currently want to go past 10.7.

For whatever reason I thought about the game again today and looked at the game card, which now shows as 10.7. I checked the Mac App Store via the dev's website and there it is listed as 10.6.

I know all the old games are tested by gog. Are indies ever tested? Does all the technical info on the game cards for indies come straight from the developer?

This won't likely be my favorite game of all time, but it does look pretty cute and I likely would have bought it on release had I known I could run it. If it's the developer's fault, well that's on them. I doubt it's gog's issue, but was curious about how that game card was released and subsequently changed.

Geez, the game-specific forum. Of course. Many thanks for sorting out my stupidity, chean. :)
