Almost too good to be a game--but as games go, it's one of the pest.--Entertainment Weekly

Bad Mojo Redux, a revamped edition of the classic 1996 horror adventure that will let you experience the world through the eyes of a cockroach, is available in a bonus content-filled package on GOG.com, for only $5.99!

There's over 4,500 species of cockroaches roaming every possible corner of our planet. 40 of them, are the species closely related to human habitats. They live in the cracks of our civilization, feeding on our waste, shunning our light. We try to keep our worlds as separate as possible, revolted by their shining chitin bodies, dietary habits, and the tendency to show up unexpected and uninvited. We do our best to keep them out of our sight and mind, but the truth is, we're only fooling ourselves. They are there, they have always been, and they will be long after we're gone. Now, wouldn't it be fascinating to catch a glimpse of these creatures' perspective of reality?

Bad Mojo Redux lets you do just that! It tells a Kafka-like story of a man turned into a cockroach by a strange and mystical twist of events. Surprisingly the event leaves the protagonist feeling empowered, free, and in control for the first time in his life, as he sets off to experience the world full of paths no human ever trailed before. The game, combining exploration, puzzles, and a psychedelic plot, has been refurbished for modern systems so you can discover all of the 800+ screens re-creating our world's disturbingly icky underbelly. The game comes complete with a ton of bonus video content (including a "making of" documentary and developer commentaries) and artworks.

Overcome your revulsion, leave behind your prejudice towards insects, and discover a whole new perspective with Bad Mojo Redux, yet another Night Dive classic release, for only $5.99 on GOG.com.
How can I not have heard of this. Or maybe it has been with me all along. Hiding in some crevice in the kitchen.

I hope you set off a nuclear bomb at the end. And survive.

Leroux: Regarding the complaints about adventure games, I'd really like to see a poll about genre popularity among the GOG community. It might be true that some genres are more catered to then others, but I'd be surprised to find that a majority of GOG'ers isn't interested in them.
Eh, I'm a gamer.

I like all kinds of games - Adventure, Platformer, Strategy, Shooter, Sports, RPG, etc - as long as it seems interesting.

I'd have to say Bad Mojo Redux looks very interesting.

It's one of the few games that true deserves to be called "unique".
Never even heard of this one but it seems like a cool release. Will definitely look into it, wishlisted for now.
One of my most beloved adventure games EVER. I HIGHLY recommend this masterpiece to anyone mildly interested in adventures. :)
Where is the Mac version? Retail version has both Win/Mac.
I'm going to go ahead and wishlist this title. It seems like it would be interesting playing as a cockroach in a Kafka-esque adventure.

"System 9.0 or OSX Classic mode"

Yeeeeah. That's long dead now.
Oh, god, yes!!!

Thank you so much, GOG! Ever since IAmSinistar recommended this game to me I've been eying it, and now here it is! :D

So many good, interesting games being released in the last few months, I'm a very happy adventure gamer indeed!

And, now, onto to the top of my wishlist it goes, as soon as I get some money this one, Ether One and Harvester are my gaming priorities. Hahaha!

So cool!

OK thanks. I hope that I get this running with Wineskin.
Oh man as a kid I remember my bro playing this - he always told me to go away because of the imagery, so I only ever got glimpses of some horrible-looking stuff. Now I can play it, so thanks GOG! :D
Great game! A little short, but great!
I remember this when the original came out. I couldn't play it then due to the subject matter and nothing has changed since. I hate insects and cockroaches creep me out more than any other. The developers can take this as a compliment - they succeeded in repulsing someone who is repulsed by the real thing.
This game rings a bell, I already saw the poster image sometime ago on several gaming sites.
Didn´t knew it was FMV.
Looks interestingly decadent. Bought.

Do arachnids count as insects to you?
