They are available on Steam if anyone is interested.
No info yet on whether they'll run on anything past XP, but did see a warning that RF2 will not work with DX10.1 cards.
£4.99 each.
It's at times like this you really really appreciate the support effort GOG put into their catalogue.

Just buy Red Faction Guerilla and get 1 and 2 for free.
they're actually also available on Impulse and D2D as well. I would recommend pre-ordering Red Faction 3 from Impulse because it'll get you RF1, and 2 for free once RF3 releases.

On Steam and Gamersgate too. Pre ordering grants you 1 and 2 for free as I said.

yeah, but nobody likes steam, so just go for impulse or gamers gate.
also, like I noted, that you won't actually be able to play 1 and 2 until 3 releases.

I love Steam. :D And you can play 1 and 2 if you pre order from Steam.
Pre-Purchase Red Faction Guerrilla today and get the original Red Faction and Red Faction 2 for free to play now.
Break it up you two.... Or it's straight back to your rooms!
I already have Red Faction Guerilla on PS3. And without encouraging any anti console responses, if it's half as good as the console release on PC you guys will love it.

Really? that's great to know.. Hmm..
Red Faction worked perfectly on 7 64-bit when I played it a while back, and this is probably true for Red Faction II as well since it uses the same engine. Vista compatibility will be much the same. Note however that Valve gives no guarantee of compatibility, unlike GOG, even for titles that can easily be made compatible.

Great news. If anything RF2 I could probably live without, but I do remember enjoying the first RF.

I prefer Steam to Impulse, at least Valve are honest about their regional pricing hikes (ie, making it transparent). But I prefer GamersGate to Steam =)
Still, as most of my FPSes are bought over Steam, if I decide to take up the preorder offer, it'll be on Steam -- and I've never played the first two games, so chances of me actually pre-ordering are very slim.
Steam is great. I love being able to download my games so quickly when I switch computers or reinstall Windows.
Also seeing the note on the store page about DX10 cards and the game not working, is also putting me off. No point in buying a game if there is a good chance it won't work on my 9600.
I quite enjoyed RF1, even if it was a little short and the MP rounds prone to people cheating a rather lot.
Never managed to get it working past Win98 and onto XP or Vista though. But it was not a game I spent a good enough time tweaking to have it running again.
