I am still waiting on GoG to get these games do you know when you will be able to get these games online for use to buy?
Also is there anyone else interested in the Panzer General Series?

Not I sorry.
Not really that big a fan of WWII.
I am. Panzer General was great. Easy to learn, hard to master - the pinnacle of the wargaming genre then, and even now it still is.

I suggest you answer the question....
I always prefered Panzer General 1. I loved the 2d crisp graphics.
I would like to start with the first one. I have such fond memories of playing that game for hours, but I never actually finished the campaign. I kept having to start over for one reason or another.

Hm... Frankly speaking I don't have the answer. I'm working to make you happy and always glad to hear your wishes. :-)

You've never specifically asked for games like this before!
Oh you, you're such a tease.

I was speaking to lowyhong actually, since you asked him a specific question... :)

Now now, although I liked PG and I still find it a nice "beer & pretzels" game I would never call it the pinnacle of wargames :) But indeed even today it can be a good introduction to the genre.
I'd love to see the 5 Star General series on here! Well, okay they can forget about Star General if they want to...it wasn't a BAD game it just didn't really work all that well. The game mechanics didn't really fit a space game at all.
And while we're talking SSI titles, I wouldn't mind the original Steel Panthers trilogy...or the Wargame Construction series...either. :)
