lowyhong: Oops. I didn't really check up on the Monkey Island remake, so I assumed it was Telltale who did it. Is it the exact same game with improved graphics?
Skystrider: Pretty much, indeed. They also redid the music with real instruments, improved the background ambiance effects, and added some pretty fine voice acting with talents from the MI3 cast. You can even toggle between the original, classic game (SCUMM interface and all) and the new remake with the touch of a button. Other than that, it is still the MI1 I remember from the early 90's.
I got a friend of mine to buy it for his Xbox, and I watched/helped him for around the first 50-60% of the game (showed him a couple of secrets).
I have to say, I really wish that the telltale ones looked as good as that. It looked great (despite guybrush's wierd looking hair).
At the end there's apparantely a little hint that they might remake MI2:Lechucks revenge as well, which would rock, since that's my favourite one.
Back on topic... I would buy a decent Xwing/Tie fighter game in a heartbeat.
Things are looking up...
