Ironsky: I hope the gog staff did not have to sell their wives to Atari to get this good of a deal for us!

Me too, I started to like her - from time to time that is :p

Tantrix: Holy shit, I just have found the reason to buy Crysis now.

IMO there are a lot of reasons for buying crysis, but not this one... openoutcast guys are making a great job, and their mod is for crysis wars... so you just need the free trial:
You do NOT NEED the full version of Crysis Wars to play Oasis – the FREE UNLIMITED trial version is enough (see the release notes)!
Thanks for the new games GOG!
IIRC, for the demo I just modified loader.ini in the game directory and I was running it at 1280x resolution.
Is the full game different?
Thanks GOG!!! This is one of the best game I ever play. It can not be define with a genre. A real must for every gamer.
Great price, thanks!
Thanks GOG! Keep them coming.
Movie... GoG game... Movie... GoG game....

Keep up the good work. Can't wait for MoM and Blood to come too :D

cp96alumni: Never played it, but from what I see here it is a must. How well do you think it would run on a netbook? It sounds like it is a resouce hog. Anyone tried it yet?

We do :)
Both games released today shouldn't causes any problems on netbook. Enjoy :)

Skystrider: Now this here, lads, this here is one of the most underrated, under-appreciated, and just plain forgotten gemstones of gaming that I can think of. Just promise me one thing: that you don't ever, and I mean never, play this game on easy difficulty. It just removes a lot of the depth of the gameplay. Outcast is at its best when the actual ammunition is scarce, and you are constantly outnumbered and outgunned, making combat something to be avoided whenever possible.
Outcast is a game I find myself coming back to time and again over the years; simply a remarkable, one-of-a-kind experience. I don't think any other game looks and sounds quite like it , and few other games can match the atmosphere; the feel of adventure, and the vividness of the worlds you explore.
Instabuy? Yes. Definitely for me. I would heartily recommend it to any fellow adventure and action-adventure fans who appreciate exploration and setting.
That it's a GOG exclusive at the moment is also a huge win for them, methinks. Congratulations are in order! :D

I dunno about "underrated". I seem to recall that it got a lot of very positive multi-page reviews in the major PC gaming magazines when it was originally released, and I for one certainly bought it because of the massive hype surrounding it at the time. I agree that it HAS become something of a forgotten classic these days, though; especially since developer Appeal never followed it up with a sequel.
Bought! I wasn't much of a PC gamer when this came out, but everyone's reaction pushed me towards the purchase button. Thanks, gog! Looking forward to another classic.
I'm excited and I don't know why. I had never even heard of this game before seeing it on the GoG 10 most wanted list. I bought it because "everyone's doin' it." Come on bandwagon, don't fail me now!

It wouldn't work anyway. Wives know better. ;) To misquote Blake's 7: We aren't stupid, we aren't expendable, and we're not going. Unless we decide to do so ourselves for our own inscrutable reasons, and then no good will come of it for you or Atari. *cue evil laughter*
Thanks GOG!!
I was half hoping/expecting these two games to be released today but I was pleastantly surprized to find three.
I'm purchasing for sure.
this looks awesome. top of the wishlist
