gacek07: Guys, please, stop complaining. Nobody forces you to buy EEIII or MoOIII...
Catshade: Well, it's partly GOG's fault they named their service as
Good Old Games...it created certain expectations and standards (which might be unrealistic) in people's mind.
"Good" is so highly subjective a viewpoint that it really has no meaning what so ever. I mean I consider some of the really old games on GoG just not good enough by modern standards and yet some people love them. Who am I (or who are you) to say that GoG should not release these games for those that do like them.
Also remember GoG is nor producing these games, they are not responcible for content, patches or errors save that the game runs on a Windows Vista OS system (and also Win 7 and I think there is also plans for Mac GoG releases).
I am glad that they don't adhear to popularity contests with the games otherwise some real neat niche area games would never see the light of day.
And yah by game standards anything that is over a year old is considered old - by 3 or 5 years the game is posetivly ancient and 10 years or more an its a fossil ;)
