It's here! An absolute legend, the grandfather of all survival horrors, and based on the works of H.P. Lovecraft - Alone in the Dark - bundled together with the rest of the original trilogy!

Alone in the Dark is a survival horror game released back in 1992, and one of the first games to use 3D models over prerendered backgrounds. This may not sound too fancy now, but when you see the vivid facial expressions on characters using almost two decades-old technology, you'll see that this game is simply a work of art. But there's a lot more to it than that.
Overall, the game's presentation is simply amazing, and this goes for the entire trilogy as well. Each gripping story comes accompanied by top-notch voice acting, fantastic mood-setting music and an immersive cinematic atmosphere. After playing this release, you'll wish all games were this well-designed.
And, finally, the horror part presents the perfect mix of bone-chilling suspense and sudden, heart-pounding terror.
So that's three legendary games for a mere $5.99. What are you waiting for? Are you scared or something?
Definitely 3 of the best horror games ever made, though I have a greater fondness for AITD simply because it's the first I ever played :D
Finally! Been waiting for this one. Now if we could just get the Thief series and LucasArt's catalog, I'll be more than satisfied.
Insta-buy!

Changing subjects, they've all but named EA as the publisher they're signing, and they told us they have two more of "the big five" that they expect to sign up by fall. I'd say that's pretty big news.

Electronic Arts, Lucas Arts, and...Take 2?

Alone In The Dark. So so sweet. Thank you GOG!
I'm impressed, thank you very much !!

BTW, anybody knows where I can find more info about the games by Atari Games?

Thank you very much !!
I actually never played these. I was just getting into PC gaming at the time and they were buried amidst a ton of other games on the shelves. Looking forward to giving them a try.

$6 for all three is insanely cheap.
These are games that definitely belong on GOG. Not one of my favourite series, though.
GOG impressed me :D Thought they were going to release them separately for 5.99 each... This is awesome!

Navagon: No. Those where separate releases even back then. This appears to be permanent. But due to the lack of AitD trilogy pack I assume they've opted to market it like this instead.
GOG did their own packs in the past, so that's not the explanation, I think.

I'm pretty sure it's thanks to Atari policy (just like Ubisoft policy until latest wave of their games was only 9.99 price point).

Just bought.
An interesting release.
I remember playing the first one, back when it came out.
Too unforgiving for my tastes though. :(

But even so. The other two AitDs aren't being marketed as separate titles. GOG have never removed games from a pack they've sold, and have only removed standalone titles when they've had to for legal reasons. It's not a promo thing or they'd say it is, like they did with Broken Sword and Heroes of M&Ms 1 before it.
Alone in the Dark? Eeeewwwww.

I guess I'll just wait for the next title, which should hopefully be something fun and playable.
