Whats the best new pc game you bought recently for me it a toss up between xcom and hotline miami.
S.P.A.Z
Dark Souls , even though it's not really a new game. It is the first time I played it though.
Witcher :D
I would say Saints row 3. At least that's the game I've played most recently.. If I don't count Police quests. Sonny Bonds is real man.. Even though a bit too blond. =)
Well, since most games I buy (thanks to GOG) are pretty old there's not many new games I've tried recently. And the question is how "new" you want it.

A couple of months ago I beat Batman: Arkham Asylum, which is just brilliant. Arkham City is newer and supposedly better (haven't tried it yet) so I guess that one's great if you're into exploration and beating the crap out of people.

Haven't tried Borderlands 2 yet but I guess that one's pretty good to. I like the first one a lot.

But speaking of Borderlands, I prefered Dead Island. It's similar in many ways, not as refined, but the melee combat is quite a fun experience, especially when you're playing it with analogue controls (gamepad required). And actually I considered the looting more rewarding than in Borderlands, especially thanks to the modifications you can apply which can give you a hammer with a ridiculously powerful shock attack (enemies literally fly through the air and get shred into pieces) or a burning katana sword. It was especially fun online with friends but also playing it alone is not bad.

I'm also looking up to playing Darksiders 2. I just loved the first one.

Guild Wars 2. I'm fairly stoked about the Halloween party. I honestly wish I was younger and had more free time so I could play the game more than I do.
I don't know how we're defining new, but I really enjoyed XCOM :D
Mass Effect 3. It's the newest game I have and quite possibly the best one I have ever played in my entire life. Okay, well, that isn't entirely true. It is one of my favorite games (like, top two favorite), but part of that comes from the awesomeness of the games preceding it. Still, an excellent game in its own right.
Newest one I've bought that I've actually played yet? Hmmm. I guess it would be Trine 2.

I have a number of newer games that I just haven't gotten around to yet, including Spec Ops:The Line (I intend to get to this one soon, but I'm currently in the middle of a run through Planescape:Torment), Mass Effect 3, Inquisitor, Portal 2, The Batman Games, Fallout:New Vegas, and Kingdomes of Amalur. Not to mention the tons of indie games I've picked up as well as the tons of even older games I've gotten on sale.

Yeah, my backlog has become sentient and is conspiring to eat me alive.
Borderlands 2. Probably my GOTY if you don't count the PC version of Dark Souls
Probly Deus Ex Human Revolution
Dishonored.
Difficult. I liked Max Payne 3 a lot, but also sleeping dogs, Darksiders 2 and Torchlight 2.

Since Sleeping dogs had framerate issues during the day, and Darksiders stutters on full screen (common issues related to the game and not to the pc, well probably the game not liking the pc to be honest), my vote goes to max payne 3, with second place to torchlight 2.
Newest a Game of Dwarves, but probably XCOM or Orcs Must Die 2 for me, though I have a lot of games I like right now.
