livefree: Actually how does user created content work for an mmo, I never played an mmo like that before. I mean if it's user created doesn't that mess with the persistent world. Say someone can make a map where XP would be super easy to get or godly drop and stuff. Or is it like you can make content but it's very restricted etc.
In CoH there were a lot of farming missions created, and I even used one once to get quickly to level 20, because I wanted a new character with two costumes for a costume contest. On the other hand there were story arcs created with nice stories.
In EQ2 I found that all dungeons gave more XP than I wanted. On the other hand they didn't have stories because it was hard to create stories in that limited system. So I didn't like it that much.
Personally I don't see the problem with getting XP or loot. If people want to get up the level quickly, let them do that. I prefer to go up slowly and experience the content.
