I use FlashGot all the time. Whenever there's a particularly lengthy YouTube video that I don't care to wait for to load in it's container player, I use FlashGot to send it to my Downloads folder. One day, however, my hand slipped, and I ended up sending the contents of a whole page (and some of the contents of pages linked to/from that page) to my Downloads folder.

I managed to clean most of it up, but the byproduct was a "file" simply labeled "More...". No extension, no size, and no way to delete, move or even rename the bugger. I've attached a screencap (edited for privacy) to show you what I'm talking about.

I've tried various techniques, like Malwarebyte's "FileASSASSIN" to get rid of it, and nothing has worked so far.

Have you double checked to make sure it still isn't associated with another program? For instance, sometimes there can be issues if a folder or file is incompletely downloaded and it won't allow you to delete it.

Best bet if you haven't tried it already is to restart your computer, and then try deleting the file again while offline.

LOOK at the screencap. My machine thinks the file isn't even there, because it has "zero-mass", if you will.

I did.

I had this problem several times back when I was using XP, most notoriously on Morrowind mods. If anything interrupted the download or the download was corrupt it would cause me to have undeletable files on my system stating 0 Kb size but still unmovable. It was even more annoying for me, since I send all downloads straight to my desktop, meaning I had broken file links cluttering screen space.

Restarting usually worked, though. Try it.

If the reboot doesn't work, try using Unlocker: http://www.filehippo.com/download_unlocker/
If anything is keeping that file from deleting, it will fix it.

This file has been here for weeks, and I've restarted my computer several times in the interim. Restarting doesn't work. The file is not associate with any program, because it has no extension. The problem is that Windows thinks that the file isn't there/I've already deleted or moved it. That's why the "Item Not Found" says "Item Not Found; Verify the item's location".

Unlocker should still be able to fix that.

If rebooting or the unlocker doesn't do the trick I usually search the registry for the file name and delete any references to the file (More...) course you need to decide if it a legit reference or not. In your case, I would think you wouldn't have any references to a More... file that was legit.

Create a system restore point and have at it . . . =)

Unlocker is precisely what you need. Helped me lots of time already. Highly recommended.

Get ubuntu and burn it to a cd or put it in a usb. Boot the PC in ubuntu and try to delete it there.

I've yet to run into a file that unlocker couldn't get rid of.
