great game
Good luck getting Microsoft to agree to anything.

Well, seeing their recent moves, I wouldn't be so surprised if it happens.
Take Two Interactive owns the rights to Myth.

Huh, you are not wrong about that. "As a result of Bungie's sale to Microsoft in 2000, the company lost the franchise rights to Take-Two Interactive.[1] Myth III: The Wolf Age was developed by MumboJumbo and published by Take-Two in 2001." - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Myth_%28series%29

So if Take 2 is the other major publisher GOG mentioned during their stream, I'd imagine we'd see these games show up, especially since they are supported by nGlide - http://www.zeus-software.com/downloads/nglide/compatibility

Take-Two doesn't seem to care too much about old games, as they haven't even bothered with anything pre-2000 on Steam.
Didn't played any of those games. Are they good?
Myth was brilliant (Myth 2 in particular). Well, Myth 3 sucked, but that was expected. And yes, Take-Two owns it and they don't care.
And I'll just post 2 [url=http://youtu.be/0IQY_js0DkM]links here. Just because.

One of the best RTT games in my opinion (excluding the third one). The interface is somewhat archaic, but fan versions fix it to a degree.

Heh, I always believed that Eidos / Square Enix has the rights to those because the European release had their logo on it. I have to say, btw, that the European (or at least German) box art looked much better than Bungie's original one. Also the German title translates to "Crusade Into the Unknown". Pure badassery.

Myth TFL and Myth 2 were some of the best (if not the first) fully 3D RTT games (well, the terrains were 3D, but the units were 2D sprites). At the time they really pushed the boundaries due to both the physics engine and the deformable terrain, and they really shined on the top-end 3Dfx hardware of the day. It was one of those few examples of a game that was very well balanced for both multiplayer and single player, too.

If you can find a physical copy of the game, do so: thanks to Project Magma's work with the source code, both Myth TFL and Myth 2 are very well supported on modern hardware and OSs. This was Bungie Software at its best in its days before Halo.
Don't forget to vote for Myth 2 as well, it's even better than the first one:

You could say that about a lot of publishers, though.
Is there a real chance that GOG could get the Myth series? I've always wanted to try those games!

Scratch that, they have actually released Railroad Tycoon 2 on Steam. The question remains as to why they haven't bothered with other games from their older backlog when other companies like Activision, Bethesda, EA and Ubisoft have done so.
I have never heard ot Myth until today, but after a little search with google, I see it is an interesting game. Not exactly top-notch graphics, but the story seems good and deep. I voted too on the wishlist.
