Aliasalpha: (assuming there is a pc demo)

Now, you know better than that :p
Yeah, unfortunately the demo was only released for the PS3 and Xbox360, so at the worst you could also play it on one of thos consoles (if you don't own such a console, maybe a friend does?)
But either way, the PC version is so much better given that FPSes (and thus this game by association) handle better with the mouse/keyboard combination. And the physX stuff is sweet too.

I bought it, it's retail so it'll come in a box I assume.

NewEgg.ca with its 20$CAD price disagrees with this topic.

I've got the game on both and I really disagree with this. Given that you really have no need to use guns at all, the extra accuracy a mouse gives you is pretty redundant. I actually found that the gamepad worked really well and would consider them pretty evenly matched.
That said, that's a great price for the game, but given the activation restrictions put in place, I wouldn't want to pay any more for the PC version.

Damn, forgot about that and I just bought it. Oh well, from all the praise it's getting I assume paying six bucks and having limited activations balances out in the end.
and @Weclock thanks for the heads up

I have an ATI card, anyway.

Agreed. I played it on the PS3, (though I may just get the PC version myself... 'cause... cheap, and... soooooo pretty...) and I've always found that mouse/keyboard is good for accuracy, but controllers are better for movement. Analog sticks are crap for aiming, but they're much better for smooth movements in the field.

Yes. :(
$35 w/shipping. Urgh.

As the game was released after May 2008 EA have a revocation tool that will revoke any activations in place. You can get it, and more information, from here:
http://activate.ea.com/deauthorize/
It is now sold out :P
I'll just get the novelization when it comes out, or catch the inevitable film.

Those would require the game to be very successful. :P
I think an anime or something like that could be genuinely cool though, if handled properly.

Thats chapter 1

It's an instant blockbuster! Quick, call Bruckheimer, Bay, Cameron or anyone that isn't Boll!
Damn, I missed that roll after the last jump. No wonder I couldn't get through that first chapter! lol.
