I am torn between comedies and mysteries.

As for favorite movie genres have to be crime dramas, mystery/suspense thrillers and Westerns like The Godfather, Donnie Brasco, The Departed, Seven, Zodiac, No Country for Old Men, True Grit, Django Unchained, 3:10 to Yuma and the Serigio Leone Spaghetti westerns ofcourse to name a few. I also enjoy good Sci-Fi/action fare like Blade Runner, Inception, District 9 and Rise of the Planet of the Apes so I guess I like a lot of different movies from many genres. :)

I like scifi action too. A good one I saw recently was Dredd, which is on Netflix. Another good one on Netflix is Pandorum.

I like period pieces, enjoying the costumes/scenery and seems to not remind me so much of the harsh realities of today's world, so it's a nice escape I guess!
