I love the community here, but the most memorable experience was the first Tower Duel organized by stoicsentry and "fought" against IAmSinistar. It was so much fun to make up stuff. Which reminds me that I should do some creative giveaway too :).

The reason I love this forum is that people are caring for each other. Proof of this is in every giveaway!

This generosity around here is what keep this one a nice place. Overall people are respectfully, going into discussions politely and still do amazing giveaways. We should not let scams and others scums turn GOG in a nasty gaming forum. And what you have done is a good way to deal with it.

(Thank you to the anonymous donator, it Looks like a cool game! -_^ ) I love the forum games that the GOG community plays like Word Association Game, Just Three Words and my personal favorite Draw and Guess the game!. Though simple they always put a smile on my face. ^_^

Recently I hit a snag in a game I was playing (Alpha Centauri) and asked a question about the game mechanics involved on the forum. On other forums I've visited in the past the response most likely would have been "NooB!", "Read the manual!" or something less constructive... instead a fellow GOG user went out of his/her way to explain in great detail how that section of the game operated. ^_^ (Thanks again Lasivern.)

From the threads I've been reading this friendliness is the common tone of the GOG forums, which is impressive. ^_^ (imo anyway.)

Please count me in for Defender's Quest and Broken Sword 2. And just in this thread alone, I am thankful to all of the people who saw this giveaway and decided that they would make it even better by donating additional games, and I am thankful to akhliber for creating something good out of something bad by creating this giveaway. +1

As for me, the community in general is rather good at improving my day, but I'm going to single out tinyE for his ubiquitous, concise, self-deprecating humour.

I like the community overall, at a first glance one could say that the forums almost don't need too much moderation, since people are generally friendly and help each other (with some exceptions of course).

As for specific members, Ian and shadowreaper1989 come to mind, I've been very pleasantly surprised by them on several occasions. Of course, not forgetting to also mention Momo1991 - I've had some great luck with some of her giveaways lately and I really appreciate her not putting me a blacklist (yet).
