I enjoy reading a lot of nostaglic posts from gaming in our youths. MOMO gives out a lot of stuff and makes people happy. There are others that give away stuff and have fun giveaways as well.

This forum has its bright moments. There was a long thread that was concerned about a kickstarter/indiegogo scammer who was suicidal, and although there were some pretty shitty commenters in that thread, there were also those who were reaching out to the person. I don't think I would have as much sympathy for The_maestro27 if he were ever in similar circumstances though.

No offense, but you know this is kinda your fault, right ? Lowest rep sends the key first, this is the basic, common sense rule that would've made you avoid the entire situation...

None taken, and it was totally my fault. I prefer to trust folks, and accept that it means I'll get burned on occasion. :)

I recall one of the sales (the one with games year by year) and just happened to mention how I would have bought Zork Anthology but missed it while at work and low and behold, Foxworks just gifts me the game and refused to take anything in return. Surely not the only gifts this fine member of our community has given. I could go on and on about the Sigil, Ian, Momo or any number of our regular gifters. They all deserve appreciation!

I guess I could talk about ET3D. A while back I was hunting down the Humble Indie Bundle 1. I had created threads on loads of online forums I was a member of. The closest I got was a guy asking $40 for one, and he wasn't even sure if it had all the steam and desura keys. Since I was a member on this forum too (although maybe with just 1 or 2 posts before that), I created a thread here asking if anyone had one they were willing to trade.

ET3D just plain gifted it to me! Wasn't used to such generous behaviour, so I decided to stick around, and did a giveaway of my own.
