Is Gothic (http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/gothic) safe at this moment?

I know there's no JoWood in the gamecard, but I'd like to be sure.

If GOG put lack of faith in JW future that way, so... I've took Spellforce. Other games... Or I already have 'em (Gothic 2, Painkiller. Neighbors from Hell), or have no need in them.
Anyway, nice price drop )

But one question. Why delete games that no longer sales from user shelf? AFAIR (please correct me), steam doesn't delete games from user game-library and allow to download them indefinitely in such cases. I thought, this is must be right thing to do. Honest to buyers. Or are there legal problems here?
Backuping is not hard for me, cause I always do it. Just curious.

I've never heard of "Neighbours from Hell" but I've had some less than savory experiences with certain neighbours so yes.... I'll be picking this up on payday! Also, Painkiller was on my "to-buy" list last month and I wound up not picking it up, looks like that worked out in my favor!

Removing 13 games from GOGs catalogue at once would harm you, imo. Well, 12 games, because Gothic II is supposed to go back to Piranha Bytes.

What to do... what to do...

On the one hand, some of the games sound interesting
On the other hand, I'm not sure I'll ever get around to playing them.
On the third hand, they are dirt cheap.
On the fourth hand, I'm not sure I'll ever get around to playing them.
On the left foot, the games might be removed, so I should pick them up now if I ever want to play them
On the right foot, I'm not sure I'll ever get around to paying them.

It's a dilemma, it be.

just take them as long as you can get them... and if you are not able to them, does not matter, you did a good turn for Jowood and GOG:)

On one hand, if you buy them now (at this price!) you have the choice to play or not to play in the future.

If you don't, then you won't have the choice in the future.

And Neighbours from Hell is very nice and funny casual game, you don't need a lot of time to play it.

Anyone know if any of these games have issues with win 7?

I'm guessing that there might be different legal problems depending on what kind of contracts they have and what is happening with the rights for specific games and so on. It's true about Steam, at least for some games - I have a couple that are no longer sold but I can still download and play. And like some people have mentioned GOG seems to have done the same thing with some games here too - but they don't seems sure if they can do the same thing this time.

I hope that we can still download them even if they disappear from sale. I have all my games backed up too, but still. And either way, I would love it if they are still on our virtual shelves here, even if they can't be downloaded anymore - it's just nice having a list of your games like that :) My collection has been growing pretty much and it would be sad to see it shrink again.

So, GOG team - please let the games remain in our library regardless of what happens with selling them and offering them for download, ok? I'm guessing there wouldn't be a legal problem there - after all, it's just a record that we at one time bought the games here. And a nice picture, all our precious games lined up on cyber shelves :)

Wanted to get Ghotic 2 with my Witcher 2. At 3.99 I guess I'd better pick it up now. Better safe then sorry. Will look at the others from the sale but only a few stand up.
