Ivory&Gold: Soooo that's it. Thanks for all the suggestions, I feel like I'm gonna check out a lot of them once I can find the time. Feel a bit bad for choosing only one winner, but I just don't have the money to give games to all of you guys who came up with suggestions.

Anyway, mondo84 is the winner. Congratulations!
If you like horror films check out Bride of Chucky for sure. Seed of Chucky was "meh" but Bride is a classic.
My congrats to the winner!
Happy Valentine's Day, people! :)
Wow, mondo84 is in a roll. Congratulations! His was an excellent suggestion, by the way. I have only watched the second one, but plan to watch the three of them together when I get the chance.

Thanks again for the giveaway! It was very interesting to read everybody's recommendations.
Thank you Ivory&Gold! Lots of great suggestions in this thread, hope you can make it to them all. :)

Luned: You're right, it's Roger Michell directing, not Ang Lee, but you're also right that it's one of the best adaptations ever. Persuasion has the advantage of being a short enough book to successfully turn into a single movie without chopping anything, and it's the most mature and reflective of all her works.
Yep! Which is why it is my favourite. Plus, it has most beautiful and passionate love letter ever written in fiction. (Link for the curious)
The 2007 adaptation managed to ruin it >.>

Since no one mentioned poetry, here are my favs - Sonnet 43 by E.B.Browning and The Presence of Love by S.T.Coleridge (and for some reason I totally feel embarassed now XD)
Also by Coleridge and [url=http://www.poets.org/viewmedia.php/prmMID/19399]Love's Philosophy by Shelley.
