Context does matter. For instance, "She put rogue all over her face".

And rouges are overpowdered anyway.

Two mistakes I often encounter:
* compliment instead of complement,
* daylies instead of dailies.

Well, at least the first example has two correctly spelled words, even if they do have different meanings!

Never seen anyone use "daylies" though...

Still makes my right eye twitch though!

Rouge is red in French, so if the game has a French theme, rouge will literally mean the color.

Many years ago I played World of Warcraft. The name I used when I played online poker was reklessone so my first guy was a gnome and I called him reklessgnome. Then I made a rogue and called her reklessrouge. Not many people noticed. It made me happy.

I don't know. I think red is very much an equal opportunity colour. Just look at Char, for example.

The rouge vs rogue thing winds me up no end.

I generally get very bothered by people using the wrong homophone in idioms, e.g. reign it in, given free reign.

NO! Not reign - rein. Both come from horse riding, nothing to do with monarchy.

Oh, and 'Imma' as some sort of bizarre contraction of 'I'm going to'. Where the hell did that come from? (I'll tell you where - fuckwits, that's where...)

I'm seeing a endless stream of "did you found...", "did you died...", "did you helped..." lately. It's the new "would of" apparently.

I've only seen that one "Imma gonna" so as "I'm" - which makes a bit more sense to me. Not saying I'd ever use that, but still :D
