CrisR82: So um...does this mean it's a "no toolbar or ad-stuff" version of Foxit?
I can confirm it is a barebones version of Foxit.

Oh, good, that's a relief at least XD

TheEnigmaticT: Little known fact: SKYNET actually managed to take over the world because the person who booted it up couldn't read the PDF manual.

Fortunately, we include Foxit when you install GOG games, and you may note that SKYNET is not our supreme robot overlord now.

I believe a thanks to the Product team is in order. They've saved us all. ;)
What is someone who can't read .pdf files doing around SKYNET?!
Alright SKYNET, stop impersonating poor TET. Release him and get out of here NOW!

If you'd ever worked for the military, the answer would be evident. ;)

What if the Skynet Manual is a pdf that only can be properly displayed in adobe reader?
I've installed a few games in the last couple days, and each time the box next to "Install Foxit Reader" was not selected by default. Was this the case for others?

Have you read the thread? Because that should make it clear you're not giving enough information to single that out as relevant.

I'm not sure what exactly you mean, or why you seem offended and upset?

Some people have said the option to install the PDF reader was marked on by default, others have said it was marked off.

Which clearly highlights you didn't properly read the thread as they clearly mention when that's the case.
LOL I read the thread just fine, but nice of you to claim otherwise. Between your posts I saw a couple comments about people's PDF reader not being detecting, and Foxit being installed by default. However, for the most part people with PDF readers didn't need to uncheck.

I didn't realize there would be a test...

I think you're projecting your frustration from GOG packages offering to install a PDF reader onto me, but whatever.

:)

The only one projecting anything here is you as you seem to keep trying to attach emotions to lines of text you respond to. But feel free, If that makes you feel better.

?

I wasn't aware that lightening the mood was attaching emotions?

But from reading the thread it's clear you're upset about the PDF reader inclusion. I don't think anything anyone says will please you, and I don't really see a purpose in your responses to me other than to express your personal frustration about the issue.
