Multiplayer fan base? It sold less than 100.000 copies when it came out :/ Why do you think I tell everybody I meet about it? Because it's a brilliant game, but so few people even know about it, let alone even played it...

I'm going nuts over this. It actually has a fan base for multiplayer but I can't find the page about it. Apparently it's a mod (sort of) that let's you play via hamachi and other P2P applications effectively (probably possible without but it makes it better simply put), it's suppose to work really good. I'll return to you if I find it.

Edit: I found it! Google Sacrifice Kicks Ass. I can't link directly as the site was a bit fishy and I think they (used to) hosted a torrent.

It's probably well known, I found some thread talking about it in the Sacrifice game section here and at Steam.

I had that installed before but it wasn't working either. GOG must have sent me a bad key, the game doesn't accept it. Anyone else ever have that problem?

I also had no option to join a game, at least there was no button.
