And yes, they want money!

huh I guess the few million they got out of Bethesda this past year for the rights to the original Fallout's(turns out Bethesda only had the rights to make Fallout 3 and maybe a Fallout 4 but that was it) and the full rights to produce future fallouts and a fallout mmo wasn't enough..no surprise there given that they hit Obisidian up to use their rep for a kickstarter.

lol...interplay...you big troll. Take advantage of that mayan crap...but you will not get a dime from me until I actually see you produce something worthwhile and not just trolling.

Did you notice in that video out prominent the "black isle" logo was displayed for about 60% of the video=) One of the best comments was go support the real black isle studio over at Obsidian.

Black isle is dead the original guys who made the games are long gone they should just have set up a new studio name.

to true, kinda of a jerk move to use the name to scrounge up money... but all those that care know the truth...
I'm glad I'm hanging around the GOG forums. I've never bothered keeping up with gaming news, so they would have gotten me with this. Not at the fundrising campaign, as I wouldn't even know of its existance without this thread, but one day at a shop I would see "Black Isle" and go "OMFG!!! Gotta buy now!!!"
Really underhanded trick.

But I suppose riding on an old legends name may seem like good shortcut to easy money.
Project V13? Let it go already.
HAHAHAHAHA

NO!
Oh good grief, and some people have actually given them money, that's just all kinds of wrong...
Oh just give up already.
Meh.

Didn't Interplay die like 10 years ago? I would give them a dollar but I don't want to (nor can I).
Why did I suddenly start thinking about scientology?

They want my money to make a prototype for a game that may or not be released so that I may or may not buy it again if/when it's out?
Good grief...
