I was hoping that the "really big" clue meant that one of the games would be a full release for Tiny & Big (http://www.tinyandbig.com/), but you guys are probably right about Really Big Sky.

Heretic777: i really hope so. Eschalon looks very interesting and i have it on my wishlist at GG. i hope its not Avadon because i just bought it on Amazon for $2.50.
While I have both Eschalons I really hope a drm-free version of Avadon is onboard. It really hurts to see the crazy deals in the gaming deals thread and knowing the only drm-free version on his homepage still costs 20$. So they could make us both happy and put both in the bundle ;-)

I took the chance and pre-ordered. To be on the safe side, I got it as a giftable version, so I could easily pass it on to someone else if I didn't want it myself.
I think I'm pretty likely to have at least one game already, or never play them even if I don't, but preordered anyway.

Worst case I give it away, what's wrong with that? :)

ovoon: It's obviously Terraria. It's one of the largest indie games, both in size, scale and how big the game was on release. Also, it hasn't been featured in a bundle yet, so it's perfect.

Which is cool, because I never got Terraria.

PenutBrittle: It could be, but as far as I know Terraria is a) Steam Only and b) has had so many sales that I don't know if they'd even want to be featured in a bundle.

That being said, I wouldn't be surprised to see some kind of Minecraft inspired clone making its way in.

Of course, if it is Terraria, get ready for at least one giveaway.
These bundles support Steam.
And since when did previous sales stop a game from being in a bundle?

Hell, Gish, Aquaria and a few other games have been in multiple bundles before. And World of Goo once had a "pay what you want" sale a few months before the first Humble Indie Bundle.

ovoon: -snip-
Yeah, but Terraria was a massive sales success due to the Minecraft connection, or at least more so than Gish or Aquaria. They don't stand to benefit from being included, because the game still sells very well and they make far more money during the Steam holiday sales than they would in the Indie Royale.

That doesn't mean that it won't be included, but the devs have no practical reason to include the game; it would basically just be out of the kindness of their hearts.
Pre-ordered. I only bought indie games at HIB and IndieRoyal before, so there's no risk with this bundle for me.

its suggested that we'll rather have big amount of games, not standard amount of big games...

But they already explained that they didn't mean amount of games.

From their open letter (linked on the first post)

"We're excited about the diverse and superplayable array of titles on the next Really Big Bundle, in the short-term! (Incidentally, 'Really Big' in its title is a reference to one of the included games and the scope/genre of the others, rather than it being a massive 1000-in-1 pack!)"

The picture is of four different coloured boxes, not of more. I made the same mistake till they posted the open letter.

That's 4 boxes on that picture.

I don't know how you got that out of that picture. It shows four games. Just like the normal bundle. Except the cases are of a larger size than the other bundle pictures. Also they said this wasn't the case. So...
Maybe i got some old cookies, but i see 8 boxes here, each different color :P.

oh... sorry guys, i can see it now! I was looking at it as a 2d-flat picture :D

thanks for clarification!

I've pre-ordered already because of one possibilty,

I was eyeing Really Big Sky for $4 at a store this week, but now this bundle's name suggests it will have Really Big Sky included, and I hope the first game too, Big Sky.

More than these two? It's profit. :)
They already had enough "shooters" in the last bundle. So really big sky by itself isn't my biggest draw. I'm hoping for something unique, like "Fate of the World" or that cloud racer from the first pack....
