SLP2000: They added Sanctum DLC for every 10.000 bundles sold
Right, they added three new weapons for Sanctum, and a recoloured skin for ARES. Not exactly a ridiculously amazing bonus. Just a pleasant, nice to have one. Like the Cthulhu bonuses.

None of these games have tiny bits of DLC to add, so I don't know what people were expecting.
People are probably just disappointed they don't seem to be as good as the Humble bundles. I've yet to buy any of the Royale ones and while I look forward to seeing what's in the next one I can't see myself preordering when this just barely tipped over the preorder price. Heck, the highest donation has only been $100.

PenutBrittle: I mean, the first bundle didn't even have a single extra game added.

Yeah, but in that case they stated from the start that DLC would be added. They never said anything about bonuses for this one.
Well, I got my "preorder" worth out of this pack.

I like those bundles, not because I buy bundles for the games I want (well that too) but because I get a nice "wonderbag" with games I wouldn't try otherwise. Sometimes it's a "meh" (Eufloria) and sometimes its a "wow" (Scoregasm/ RBS).

And I payed less than a big Starbucks coffee for it....

I will pre-order the next one too!
IndieRoyale was definitely worth the price. im playing Runespell like MAD now , and it took me more hours than any other game from any other indie bundle so far.

And these "extras" are ok. I remember when reading polish Fantasy magazine printed these role play story games each month. Old memories come back. Shame they are also "humour" versions, not some serious fantasy shit.

PenutBrittle: Original post updated with the new bonuses.

Seems like people are angry about the Zeboyd "games" bonus. I don't understand why people are so upset about something that a) they aren't required to purchase and b) doesn't make any guarantees about additional games for bonuses. I mean, the first bundle didn't even have a single extra game added.
Simple - Indie Royale is a very very budget purchase, in fact for those that like to scrimp and save they hardly have to pay anything at all. This results in a larger number of the type of people who will complain about anything; the sort who will ask you to pay them if you offered them something for free.

It's not a gamer unique feature, nor really an age feature; its just a fact that the kind of person that likes to pay cheap likes to try everything they can to get even more on the cheap - including complaining that what they are already getting isn't good enough ;)
I hope they can add Runespell: Overture OST... its so good.

Unfortunately, according the the Royale guys, the Runespell devs never actually made an OST available for download, so they weren't able to add it.

Thanks, yes, I know, I also asked them on their Facebook page. The music in the game is so good though.

Ha! That means it was your question that I got that information from. Nice.
Wow, I just fired up Eufloria for the first time, and so far it's much much better than I expected.
The art is simple but beautiful, the music (ok ambience?) also simple but very fitting.
The campaign is also captivating so far, through sector 1, and I'm going to play more of it tonight.

Just a heads up in case someone dismisses the game as trash. :)

Less than 3 hours left on this bundle! Price is at $3.84, below the pre-order amount.

grape1829: below the pre-order amount.
Preorder price turned out to be pretty much the maximum minimal price of this bundle.

Yeah. I have no regrets, though. I don't like RBS and haven't tried Cthulu or BoD, but Runespell and Eufloria alone feel like they're worth much more than the $3.99 I paid.

And the "Bundle Price vs. Time" chart shows that the whole pricing gimmick is basically pointless as it is, too. They still have some tweaking to do.
I think part of the smoother curve we've seen on this bundle might actually reflect the fact that many of the people willing to put $100 $500 $1000 and other exceptionally high amounts in did so during the pre-order. For them its not the products that they are buying so much as giving their own donations to the developers and the service.

By offering the pre-order those people can pay their amount early and exit the system - meaning that when the bundle goes into regular ordering you've a comparatively smaller range of possible values; this means that the average price remains more stable since you don't have those massive spike reductions any more.

For them its probably a good thing - they get the big amounts in early and then everyone else orders after. Those that complain about the pre-order are simply not understanding its intention in being a donate early option as opposed to a get the games cheap option.
