The title says it all. Im just really getting sick of all these movies. They really annoy the hell out of me. The past 10 years I might have gotten into 4 superhero movies-The Dark Knight, V for Vendetta, and Blade 1 and 2. Other than that, Im really getting infected by the fact they just keep releasing this garbage day after day.

The mainstream movie industry has a lot to work on when it comes to originality. The past 10 years of superhero movies has been extremely lame and almost all of the characters need to shot in a different light.

The biggest problem is that there are not many super villain movies that just talk about the bad guy. They should really think about doing that instead of all of these losers that come day in day out and are exactly alike.

There are too many, and films like the green lantern and thor were mind numbingly boring.

And controversially, i preffered the 90's batman movies to the new ones. They were more fantasy, better theme music and bgm. The newer ones are decent, but overhyped in my opinion.

As for re-boots. It's ridiculous that Spiderman is getting a re-boot so soon after the last trilogy. Hulk was re-booted after one film with another no better than it, just different.

Isn't there a new superman movie too? Nothing beats Christopher Reeve. He was Superman.

The avengers was another disaster. It was like mixing thor with hepatitis b.

I just think they have lost the ability to come up with original ideas. If they really wanted to shock people, they could make a movie just on the joker or another sociopath and see what happens. It would be more original than the complete lackluster superhero movie that comes out every minute.

Im all for it if it's original. Someone told me that some of the Superman movies are where its at. Personally Ive never seen any superman movies.

You should watch Dredd. It was excellent (even though it bombed), and Ma-Ma was a good villian You could understand why she was the way she was, and how her motives were formed, yet totally disagree with her methodology.

Any of the Hollywood gloss that permeated stuff like Spider-Man and Green Lantern are refreshingly absent.

Unless you are getting tired of "BIG EPIC ONE ON AN ARMY BATTLE!" the first superman movie does not have it. Superman has mostly been a saving people from natural dangers superhero and in the first movie Lex Luthor fires 2 nuclear missles in California and New York and Superman has to decide which to stop.

I hate that movie. Dredd completely redeems the franchise, however, and is much truer to the comic's nature.

Thats the thing though, Superman has always been original because he was the first one to do it. Even comedy recognizes this. I remember family guy even made a joke about how funny it was when Superman was in hell. Superman-"I know what your thinking but some chick said I was faster than a speeding bullet, I choked her."

Its kinda sad that people shits on superman because they say he is overpowered so cannot make a good story out of it.
