wormholewizards: Remember Darkman? It was a B-movie but pretty good for it's standard. I don't know if you can call it super hero though. EDIT: just realized it wasn't B movie, but pretty obscure today.
jamyskis: Definitely an awesome film though. Didn't really feel much like a superhero film to be honest, except for his hero monologue narration at the end and puts on his Ash mask so he can blow away the undead (just kidding about the last bit, although the last mask IS Bruce Campbell). Liam Neeson kicking arse before he acquired his 'special set of skills'.
Darkman reminded me of things like The Shadow. Also the The Shadow movie. I remember liking it. It's been like a decade since I watched it though
