dirtyharry50: Great place to pickup used console games, especially if you are patient and wait for them to be cheap.

I take it Impulse is their online store? I just stick to Steam, GOG, Amazon and Mac App Store. Never any problems, good deals for smart shoppers and less accounts to keep tabs on by sticking to these leading retailers.
Not like it's ne_zavarj's problem, he doesn't have money to buy games anyway, right? ;)
Gamestop has rarely ever had good deals imo. Only time I've seen it as worth my time to mess with them was when they have those rare liquidation sales on bad selling products or just leftovers. Games like Too Human for six bucks is my kind of leftovers. Beyond that the only game I recall buying from there in recent times is Xenoblade Chronicles and only because it was an Exclusive. I just give my old games that serve no purpose away as I might as well be doing the same thing for Gamestop with the pocket change they offer for them. At least I give them to someone I know plus I don't feel like I've been cheated afterwards.

Hardly ever go to GameStop (or used Impulse for that matter). I usually just buy at a discount from BestBuy or at some of the local retailers around where I live when buying physical games (PC as well as Consoles and Handhelds).

Heh, I remember that when the game was finally getting localized in the US. Luckily Nintendo had a direct buy from their website so I did that option instead. Money well spent (in my opinion anyway).

Oh, that's right. Silly me figured with the frequent long lists of stuff on sale in the deals thread that he actively buys stuff on sale. I didn't know why anyone would monitor sales so much otherwise. I guess I still don't know. Hmm.
I'm surprised that Impulse is still alive.
Impulse was up and coming as an online distributor .......but then Gamestop came along......now its little more than a middle man between GS and Valve
I installed Impulse once when gamestop sent me an e-mail saying they were giving away free copies of Rift on it.

I installed, got my CD Key, closed it and never went back.

I doubt I'm missing much.
