When I click "visit store page" on my DoW GOTY , it brings me to Gold Edition page and it says I already have DOW GOLD. (which includes Winter Assault)

But maybe it's because Winter assault isn't sold on its own on Steam.

So, wtf is going on?

This bundle is just getting better and better. I personally don't care if the added bonus games are base games without expansions. So far the only games in this bundle that I already owned are Metro 2033 and Titan Quest. For me this bundle is one helluva deal.

Same here.

My library's game image and game manual also say "Gold edition" for what that's worth...

I don't think there is actually a buyable version of the GOTY, just the Gold one, so it wouldn't be a surprise if the store went bananas a bit.

Just installed and run the game. No option for Winter Assault, sadly.

DoW GOTY Edition is not available on Steam, if I remember correctly everyone that had GOTY got a free upgrade to Gold Edition free when it landed and replaced existing version.

To play through the Winter Assault campaign you choose the Imperial Guard when starting.

When you activate the key, it says "Dawn of War Retail". According to , it doesn't come with the [url=http://cdr.thebronasium.com/app/9310]Winter Assault app. There are no other subscriptions named "Dawn of War Retail" that I am aware of (except for the DE version).

I dunno if I'm missing something.

Actually, I have the feeling that there is no DOW 1 sans Winter Assault version available on Steam. Because the keys registers as "Dawn of War Retail". Nothing else.

Because DoW Gold consists of two separate items in the library: DoW GOTY and DoW - Winter Assault.

It's a separate executable, both DoW and Witer Assault should get added to your library upon activation

Yeah, it's only the GOTY. But no Winter assault. I was wrong. Because when I open the "Gold Edition" store page it says I already own it.

Then I hope they fix the issue where it says the user already has Gold. For now, I'm not touching that code.
