Or in the case of games that can't be finished (such as the sims) played enough that you've seen most of what the game has to offer? I did an inventory of my collection today, out of the 601 games I own, i havent finished 376 of them. I'm freakin' out a little here. I dare say I should stop buying damn games till i finish this insane backlog!
heh heh...

not many.
About 5/8 of the 400 I own.
I think one shouldn't concentrate on every game they don't finish as some you can't play due to game breaking bugs anyways or the game wasn't that good and you'd probably never return to it at all.

For me i've finished System Shock(multiple times), and SS2(Ditto). I also finished Blood(main game) and Blood 2(main game).

For newer games I finished Advent Rising and Mass Effect, plus some others.

(Will edit as I remember more.)
I hear you...I don't have as many games as you, but, I know it is in the multi-hundreds too, and I doubt I have finished more than half myself...But there is a good reason for this, the games I play the most, I play because I like them the most. The only way I know if I really like a game is to play it...So in order to find the games I like the most, I have over the long years, bought way more than I could ever play. I have though now reached a point where my buying is not nearly as fast as it used to be, and it will continue to slow. I have found enough games that I truly love, that I will now be occupied until my eyes fall out and teeth decay. Still there may be a gem out there I haven't gotten yet, so I will look at the games I may like closely and decide if it may be one of those I will really love...Of course, again, the only way to be really sure is to buy it! Oh, the travesty! Oh well, I'll survive somehow. ;-P
Only 36% and not for a lack of trying. I've played through 19 games this year. At that rate it will take me almost 8 years to clear my backlog. XD

Not more than 15%.

I have damn near 450 games now I think. About 100 PS3, 220 Steam, 130 GoG.

It's just too much. When I go through my Steam games list for example, say I have a couple of days set off to play something, I can never really decide what to pick.

I tried using the backloggery, didn't work. Maybe I should try again. Or maybe not, I'm currently immersed in Skyrim and Deus Ex (the original, first time through), and still have LOTR:War in the North and Uncharted 3 crushing to get through before the Vita launch in February.

I hate this hobby.

I try to finish the games I start, but sometimes it takes forever. Time is a precious commodity these days.
According to my Backloggery page, I have finished 6.6 of my games. Of course, I didn't include the games I only have on disc and Xbox 360. Then it would be worse.

I finish most of my games but I play for a wile stop and play again, Example It took me 13 to 14 months to complete Baldurs Gate Tales of the Sword coast. But in that time I did complete Metal gear solid and Resident evil Directors cut and Resident evil 2./
Out of around 400 games. probably finished 3-4% lol
I would guesstimate... about 15%.
It used to be close to 100% 1-2 years ago. Then many GOG and Steam sales happened so it's down to about 30%-40%. Now I'm sometimes scratching my head about what to play next, but at least I won't be out of options for a while :) Will have to stop buying for at least a few months to let the backlog clear a bit.

The thing I know for sure is that a good proportion of these unfinished games I will never touch again, mainly because they were part of some (indie) bundles and weren't the focus of the purchase, or some freebies that don't really interest me. Then again, some just give me a headache despite the nice concept behind them, like BIT.TRIP BEAT and Beat Hazard.

somewhere around a third of them, but its been dropping steadily for the past 3 years. I used to finish almost every game I bought. Now I usually don't. That doesn't mean that I don't get my moneys worth out of them though. If I get a game on sale for 3 bucks, Its not really a waste if I don't finish it.
My backloggery says... 484/806 unfinished
