My Backloggery says I haven't finished 65% of the ~250 games I own. Yeah, that's pretty pathetic. The trouble is, I like to replay some real time-wasters such as Baldur's Gate. That tends to reduce the amount of time I have to commit to titles that I consider less important or the value of which I have yet to appreciate.
Around 30% of what I have.
Due to my Backloggery I have finished 60 games out of 159, not bad imo :)

graniteoctopus: Or in the case of games that can't be finished (such as the sims) played enough that you've seen most of what the game has to offer? I did an inventory of my collection today, out of the 601 games I own, i havent finished 376 of them. I'm freakin' out a little here. I dare say I should stop buying damn games till i finish this insane backlog!
_Completing_ over 50% of hundreds of games you own sounds quite an achievement to me.

Anyway, you shouldn't freak out. Take it as a journey, not as a target. I try to pay less attention now on how many games I complete, even though I now try to concentrate on only a few games at a time. As long as I enjoy playing them, everything's fine.

The only reason I'd want to complete some games because I don't like those games too much, and I want to complete it in order to get over it for good, e.g. uninstall from my PC, or free the space of it from e.g. PS2 memory card.

Of the hundreds of games I currently own, I think I have completed maybe 5%. A bit hard to say because long time ago I used to get rid of many games I had completed and didn't intend to replay, so naturally I mostly own games that I still intend to play (e.g. I haven't completed yet). Some completed games I do want to keep, you never know beforehand which ones.

Of GOG games (of which I now own maybe 95% of the whole catalogue I think), I haven't completed even the first´one.

Currently I am concentrating on playing Warcraft 2 Battle Net Edition (PC) and ICO (PS2). WC2 BNE will be completed finally probably later this week, ICO... I have no idea how long it is, but it has been advancing quite briskly lately due to its easy puzzles and quite linear gameplay. The problem with ICO (and rest of my PS2 and PSX games) is that I fire up the good old PS2 so seldom, maybe once a week or fortnight. Maybe I should try running my PS games on my PC, then I'd probably play them more often.

Backloggery puts me at 33%

However i've only tracked PC games (got plenty of stuff on iOS and DS), and out of the almost 100 that i've not finished/started there are some huge titles that will keep me busy for a while... and i just bought X3+new expansion

Looking at my steam, GOG and GG shelves I'd say maybe 15%. If I count the boxed versions as well, this would increase a bit (maybe 20-25%? Not sure). Thanks to all the sales, I'll likely pick up more good games when they're really cheap and lower the percentage even more. At least I'll be able to pick what I want when I finally have the time to play ;)
10-15% probably.

That is sad, to be honest O.O
A large portion of my steam library comes from different indie bundles, and out of each indie bundle, there are usually 1-2 games that I'm actually interested in, so my steam library have quickly gotten quite bloated with games that I don't actually have much interest in. Out of the non-bundle games that I have, I have probably finished, or am currently working on about 50-60% of all games that has some form of clear goal (the X-series remains unfinished, but in those I mainly just fly around, buy and sell stuff, shoot bad space ships and ignore the plot entirely, so I count those as the "non-clear goal" ones)

My GOG library is a lot better (for now....). I have, since I joined, bought 4 games and got 1 (technically speaking 2, but they came in one set) from a giveaway. I have finished 2 of those and working on a 3rd right now

As for my boxed games, things look quite decent as well. I still have quite a few unfinished ones, but I would say that I have finished somewhere in the region of 40-50% of those as well, though this number would be higher if I did not buy boxes that contain multiple games (some being quite diverse, like the "fantasy box", which contained RAMA, Birthright, Betrayal in antara & outpost 2 (50% sci-fi games in a fantasy box...), or the "space unlimited compilation" containing GalCiv 2, Dark star one, Sins of a solar empire & star assault), and some containing too much of the same (like the Delta Force 10th anniversary collection)
Around half, almost. I've been doing just fine lately, gonna finish three more games in a day or two (Company of Heroes series). Haven't really bought anything new in a LONG time.
*sigh*

I've got 61 GOG's.

I've only truly finished Unreal Tournament 2004 (before I got it on GOG) and the Witcher. I've finished the american Campaign of Original War and left the russian one for some other time. I have 14 other games I've played and have no intention of ever finishing, due to being too hard, annoying, repetitive, having clunky controls or because of some technical issue (I need an older driver to play Longest Journey for example).

The remaining 44 games are part of my uninstalled backlog which I get to nibble at very slow speeds. This is why I've decided not to partake on buying more stuff, no matter how cheap they are (don't mind them if they're free).

I've got about a 71 games on Steam (excluding DLC's, free games and several expansions) and I'd rather try and finish some of those since they're on a platform that could eventually lock me out from playing them. I can keep my GOG backups forever, so there's no rush.

That is pretty good, I'm probably around 2.5% :P
My backloggery puts me at 25%

These are mostly NES games I beat in my youth. I apparently have more NES games "beat" than anyone on backloggery.

Ugh..Around 8% for the titles released fro the last 10 years. Much higher, 75-80%, for older games.
I don't even dare put all games I've played on my Backloggery. I save that place for games I PLAN on finishing. But it's rarely updated: http://backloggery.com/Spieluhr
Until I returned to console gaming I rarely ever finished games... a lot of them I don't have anymore, and I suck cause I've always thought a lot of games are too hard specially earlier generations.

Plus sometimes you buy something and regret it.

When I got back on consoles I started finshing AND replaying some games over and over (hi, Mass Effect), probably an incentive was how consoles track your gameplay.

I also have this worry for Steam games locking me out some day (yesterday I tried playing Gemini Rue and only got errors, wouldn't let me play it) but I got games on there that I don't care about at all (they came with Bundles), so I doubt I'll ever finish them.

When it comes to GOG games, I've finished Gabriel Knight 2 and Phantasmagoria before buying them, and I got really close to the ending of Gabriel Knight 3 once, way before I bought it too, but my progress is probably lost. That's all so far, I only got a few games on here.

The OP's doing really well imo.
I'm sorry, "finished"?
