im in for primordia.
beneath a steal sky i picked up on a whim i spent an entire day trying to figure out some of the puzzles with out a walkthrou this game made me laugh and smile wich isnt easy for a game to do that this game is a staple in point and click adventure games tho it is short in content but makes up for in fun i recommend you get this game it reminded me of spy fox my fist computer game
Two excellent choices. GK1 is a top-5 adventure of all time and possibly my favorite. Primordia is great, too - wonderful soundtrack and atmosphere with some nice puzzles, interesting story, and retro feel.

Not in but good luck to the entrants and thanks to zavlin!

zavlin: thats for sure. To me, daedalic is shaping up to be just as special as any of the classic adventure studios.
daedalic games are good. i enjoyed Deponia and Edna. There is only the feeling like they share the same humor.
with Lucas you didn't know whats coming next.
+1 but not in - Have them both.
Oneplussed. Thanks much for the giveaway! I'd like to be in for Primordia please.

Hm, regarding Adventures I've enjoyed, for some reason what comes to mind immediately is Stupid Invaders. Based on the TV cartoon series Space Goofs. I vaguely recall many (cartoony) deaths, an alien desiring a sex change and a giant chicken threat. Very funny throughout if you like toilet humor, easy puzzles and - sadly - too short. Visually very nice. I played the Dreamcast port, come to think of it: that's one game missing in the GOG catalog!
Thanks for the excellent giveaway!
Please, count me in for Primordia.

+1 and Happy Holidays!!
im in for Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers

In for Gabriel Knight! Some much Christmas cheer going around its infectious! :)

The adventure genre is quite underrated, my fondest memory is playing EcoQuest The Search for Cetus which was my first adventure game and it took me a long time to finally beat but I was so enthralled by it as it was different than any video game I had played before....and I thought underwater stuff was sweet as a kid. It may of not been the greatest adventure game but it is one I will never forget being my first.

Telltale really seems to be bringing the genre back!

How'd you get that cool avatar of Abe? Your avatar reminded me: If Oddworld games are considered "adventure games" (and I know that they're not point-and-click adventure games), then my favorite adventure games ever would be Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee and Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus.

I just cropped and resized a image found through the beauty of Google. I'm not sure if the Oddworld games are considered Adventure, they would be my favorite if they are indeed adventure games. I always considered them platformers with puzzle/adventure elements. I think what's great about Oddworld is each game mixing all these genres.

I agree that is what makes oddworld great. How do you change your avatar on here?

I think if go to your library/game page clicking on your current avatar in the upper left corner it should say "change your picture" when clicked on/highlighted.
